RightWingSparkle is one of the sharpest (and well-armed) ladies in the Conservative blogosphere. I’ve met her — she’s a fine representative of a true Southern lady.

Just because it's the most action that either Hillary or Favreau has gotten in years doesn't make it OK.
Which is why she’s more than just a little peeved at the (scant) faux outrage coming from liberal feminists with regards to Barack Obama’s 27-year-old speechwriter, Jon Favreau, for some wildly inappropriate photos of him groping a life-size cutout of Hillary Clinton.
And RWS makes a great point as to who is ultimately to blame for Jon Favreau feeling entitled to denigrating Hillary: Bill Clinton:
[Dee Dee] Myers says that Favreau is not some college kid. He is playing in the big leagues now and should behave appropriately. Who is she kidding? She worked for the man who paved the way for all men who are Democrats to excuse themselves from any crass or inappropriate behavior toward women……Bill Clinton. Myers writes that Favreau’s behavior ” It’s an act of deliberate humiliation. Of disempowerment. Of denigration.” What did she think Bill Clinton’s acts were? Humiliation doesn’t even begin to describe what Hillary went through during the whole Lewinsky scandal. And I can think of no more disempowering act than a subordinate getting down on her knees to pleasure her boss. So Myer’s outrage seems a bit too little, too late.
Favrea was but a teenager during Clinton’s Presidency. I’m sure he heard or read all the salacious details of Bill and Monica. He learned that it was fine to cheat on your wife with a young woman not much older than your own daughter. Eve if you are President. He learned that Democrats will stand behind you in your humiliation of your wife and lying to the American people about it. He learned that as long as the woman is into it, you can use her and your power for your own pleasure.
Given that, Myer’s outrage doesn’t hold much water with me.
It isn’t surprising that it would be a Hillary cut out that Favrea would grope and then laugh. Her husband taught him that it was fine to humiliate her.
That’s pretty harsh. But there’s a whole dumptruck load of truth to it.
As for Mr. Favreau — if he had almost any other real job in America, and that picture emerges of him with a colleague/customer/competitor (in place of the Hillary cardboard likeness) — he’s fired. No if’s and’s or but’s. Fired.
Which is what Mr. Obama should do. Fuck that…it’s what he should have already done. Considering how quick Obama is to throw people under the bus (his life-long pastor, his grandmother, David Axelrod, etc.), his refusal to fire Favreau for this is an explicit endorsement of this type of misogynistic behavior.
Which makes him a lot more like Bill Clinton and a lot less like the “Hope and Change” everyone thought they were getting.
Asked about the photos, Favreau, who was recently appointed director of speech writing for the White House, refused to comment. A transition official said that Favreau had “reached out to Senator Clinton to offer an apology.”
Reached out to Sen. Clinton? Poor choice of words considering where his hand is in that picture…

Looks to me he is not very famillier with where the breast would be even on a cardboard cutout. Unless of course Mrs Clinton is disfigured in some way, then maybe he knows more about that than me.
A speachwriter with no comment? Obama might be in a little trouble here too.
Wayne: if it were a real woman and not a cardboard cut out, he’d still find himself at the receiving end of a criminal complaint/lawsuit.
It’s gross and phenomenally stupid. About par for the course.
LOL…. That is very true…
