Is there really anybody out there that believes that Obama and his staff didn’t know and understand what was going on with Gov. Blagojevich and Obama’s open Senate seat?

Really? Because you have to be one of the most naive people on the entire planet.

Obama and his Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel are both well connected products of the Chicago Machine. They are where they are today because of that machine. For them to feign surprise or ignorance at the Blago scandal is a joke.

When Blago was first arrested by the FBI, Obama was quick to claim any knowledge or contact with Blagojevich since he was elected.

Of course we know that he was lying. There are photographs of Obama shaking hand with Blago from just a few weeks ago. And now we know too that Emanuel is on tape with Blagojevich.

Wouldn’t it be nice if Emanual and Obama would be open, honest, and frank with the American people about all and any communications they had with Gov. Blagojevich?

Not surprisingly, Emanuel refuses to comment now that he knows the FBI has him on tape.

Mark Silva from Swamp Politics:

The “unanswered questions” — as the Republican National Committee and others are calling them — will continue to haunt President-elect Obama and staff in the sordid case of the Illinois governor accused of attempting to sell Obama’s Senate seat.

Until Obama, and his staff, answer them.

Exactly.

  1. Well, of course they told us B-HO and Blago had not met since the election, as their good friends in the media promised to scrub this story from the innernut.
But, once it is on the nut, it is always on the nut.
There is no way B-HO can distance himself from Chicago politics. He could not have risen so fast, and so far, without being a part of the system. They would not have trusted him or helped him, if he didn’t know where the bodies were buried.

Did you know that the national media’s fantasy that Barack Obama and Chicago’s political culture have little to do with each other is less statistically probable than being struck by lightning or winning the lottery?

    It’s true!
Go here for a graph, and other interesting tidbits, you didn’t know…if you are a liberal, that is.

  2. What was it Blago said? That all “they” were offering him was “their” gratitude, or appreciation or something like that? Who is this mysterious “they”? Duh!

No2Liberals is right on the money. Obama didn’t climb up the political ladder with rocket speed because he wasn’t a player.

But the media will do all they can to provide cover for “The One”.

  3. In the words of Sgt. Schultz, “I know NOTHING.”
