Andie Collier at Politico has a comprehensive post about all of Obama’s “first” mistakes made since being elected in November:
Obama and his team have also probably benefited a bit from low expectations, says Rosenstiel. “If you think he’s new and inexperienced and he’s going to make mistakes, and he makes fewer than you think, that’s pretty good.”
In addition, once the media’s master narrative has been set, it is hard to change it – and in this case, the transition had been declared “breathtakingly, historically, spectacularly successful” by mid-December, says Rosenstiel. Mistake stories, he explains, haven’t gained traction because they “don’t seem to fit with the declared verdict about this transition.”
I have very little doubt we have heard the last of the “Obama’s first misstep” stories. Unfortunately.

B-HO is mistake prone, and eventually, even his adoring followers will come to the realization he was a mistake.
Problem is, his mistakes will effect us for a long while. He truly is Jimmy Carter Lite.
People seem to forget what Jimmy Carter was like and what his policies did for our trade system, set it back about 50 years, plus other things. Not soon enough for me.
