Fat people and white men.

The only two remaining groups of people that it’s still politically correct to make fun of and demean. At least publicly.

At least up until now our Presidents have refrained from the cruel and tacky behavior of openly making fun of people. I mean, how are you going to make fat jokes with your own Senate is filled with fat-fucks like Ted Kennedy and John Murtha?

But Obama promised to bring change to the White House. And he did — making it OK at the highest levels of office to openly and publicly ridicule people for their weight.

During last night’s pre-game show on NBC, during an interview between Matt Lauer and President Obama — wherein Mr. Lauer tired his damnedest to fellate President Obama in front of millions of viewers, you know…because he’s an objective and unbiased  “journalist” who just so happens to have a bad case of man love for The Chiseled Chested President of Hope and Change —- but I digress…

During their magical moment on air, they had the following exchange, making fun of Jessica Simpson —- who, for the record, even with a few extra pounds on her, is an order of magnitude hotter than Michelle Obama has ever been (it’s still politically correct to make fun of ugly people, too, isn’t it?):

LAUER: And here’s a great picture -

OBAMA: Oh, it’s beautiful.

LAUER: – of – of you and – and Michelle and – and your daughters. Now, the – the reason I bring this up I think is funny. It’s a great picture.

OBAMA: Yeah.

LAUER: But I wanna show you the cover. Look what they did. They – they took you off the cover.

OBAMA: Yeah.

LAUER: They took you out of it.

OBAMA: It – it’s – it’s a little hurtful.

LAUER: You got replaced by Jessica Simpson.

OBAMA: Yeah, who’s losing a weight battle apparently. (LAUGHTER) Yeah. Oh, well.

LAUER: What would you like to say to the tens of millions of people who are watching this game today?

Way to stay classy, Mr. President.

Hey, look — I think there’s a crippled kid over there in the corner, waiting on you to touch him and thus heal his broken body — why not make a joke about his wheelchair while you’re on a roll…

  1. Did it dawn on you that perhaps he wasn’t making fun of her weight so much as the fact that one person battling a weight problem was picked for the front of a magazine because she’s a semi-famous singer? Not exactly important news.

  2. We didn’t even turn the super bowl on till half time…..out of curiosity….so we missed that little jewel (interview snippet).

Someone should tell the empty suit that it’s not PC to make fun of Anybody, fat or not.

Hasn’t the BO tried to raise the price of non diet drinks in schools ?…..or maybe the hypocritical Ass would like to raise the price of non diet drinks Everywhere.
He is Not the Food Police !
This is sticking his nose in where it doesn’t belong. There are more important things he should be working on like planning to move OUT in 2012.

The soft drink companies won’t care, …it just means more money for them.

  3. Coupled with discrete talks with Syria and Iran, he’s really showing his true-piece-of-shit colors in the first 30 days.

January 2013 can’t come soon enough.

  4. I’ve gotten REALLY tired of commercials that poke fun of men (who are typically portrayed by portly, white men). Everything from H-E-B commercials that suggest men can’t operate an oven to at&t commercials that suggest white men are dumber than Asian men.

Imagine if you will a commercial showing a woman can’t drive or a black man can’t keep a job. Horrible! Should never be done! The same should hold true for white men.

And yes, you hit the nail on the head about Matt Lauer and his lust for Obama. I rarely turned on the TV before this president. Since then I simply have tuned everything out. I am so tired of the knob slobbing. Maybe when these networks no longer have viewers they’ll wake up.

  5. THIS MAKES ME SOOO ANGRY! HOW IN THE WORLD AM I SUPPOSED TO SUPPORT A PRESIDENT WHO THINKS IT’S OK TO LAUGH AT ANOTHER PERSON’S STRUGGLES….AND THIS IS THE MAN WHO IS GONNA RUN OUR COUNTRY FOR THE NEXT 4 YEARS!!!!

    SHAME ON YOU MR. PRESIDENT!!!!!!

  6. Just another illustration of his attitude towards women. Any man knows you don’t mock a woman’s weight issues, particularly those in an industry overrun with body image problems manifest in obsessive plastic surgery and eating disorders. Obama isn’t half the idiot those paying attention think he is; he’s ten times worse.

  7. Jason,

Sadly with Obama he could make the most crass comment possible about PMS and turn his nose up and make oinking noises and no one in the media would care. In fact they’d probably attack the poor woman too. I could see it now. Matt Lauer standing in front of a giant calendar showing how she blows up at photographers every four weeks.

However should Bush have ever made a comment like that, NOW would be breaking into the White House with a baseball bat.

    John

  8. Sorry–just saw the edit button

  9. Oh, come on–he was READING THE COVER OF US MAGAZINE, which said in large print that she was in a “weight battle.” Listen to the tape. He didn’t say LOSING a weight battle, he read it off as “in a weight battle, apparently.” He was chuckling because his photo was cut off the front, leaving his wife and daughters. It was self-deprecating. Lighten up, folks. He wasn’t making fun of Jessica. I heard it when it aired. This is much ado about nothing–he didn’t slam her for her weight.

  10. Gypsy,

That might be so. But I think more to the point is how the media downplays and buries Democrat gaffes, but whenever a Republican says something similar it’s headline news for several days.

When VP (soon to be candidate) Al Gore’s kids were busted drinking it barely got mentioned. But when news of Bristol Palin’s pregnancy hit, it was the headline on cnn.com for a full THREE DAYS! Tell me there’s no double standard.

    John

  11. But it wasn’t a gaffe, if you heard it! He was laughing at his own unimportance compared to his wife and daughters. Fair is fair, guys.

  12. I recall Al’s son’s arrest being covered fully by the media. I think part of the “problem” with Palin’s daughter is when you set yourself up to be shining example of morality, they feel justifieed in knocking you off the pedestal when you make a mistake. The gay relationships of a mega-church leader would not be big news if he hadn’t come out so loudly as being opposed to gays.

  13. No, no, not his son. His DAUGHTERS were busted for underage drinking in 1999 or 2000 or so. The story was BURIED unlike when the Bush girls did the same here in Austin at Chuy’s.

I cannot imagine anything short of 9/11 or a major disaster that is so newsworthy it’s the headline on cnn.com for at least 72 hours.

Al Gore has set himself up as the champion of the environment and global warming. Where’s the 72 hours of coverage of his convoy of SUVs sitting idling for hours outside of a New York convention center? Fair is fair.

  14. I can’t recall all of the 10 year old news stories–sorry–so I don’t know whether it was covered or not. I do remember that the Bush girls were busted for booze, but they finally seemed to be left alone in the last few years. Families shouldn’t be skewered by the media, Democrat or Republican.
What I responded to is that the quote is WRONG. Pres. Obama was not making fun of Jessica, if you read the actual words spoken. He was reading the magazine cover. That’s what this was about, wasn’t it? It would be “fair” for you to give the true words spoken, so people who didn’t hear it can make up their own minds.

  15. Obama never called Jessica Simpson fat, its what the magazine said. You people would know that if you saw the inteview, instead of going by whatever you heard. You all just need to grow up and see for yourself. If you did see the interview and you think he was making fun of her your just retarded.

Even if he were making fun of her I would agree 100% because now Jessica Simpson is fat and everyone knows it so get over it.

Obama is going to be a great president and I hope he is in office for 8 years!!!!

  16. Don’t do the NFL…love football too much to watch that crap.
And I certainly don’t do B-HO on television, either. He’s a disaster inside a catastrophe, wrapped in chaos.

  17. Glad to hear from Tyler, loyal Obambot 2649215.

  18. Obama supporters are sheep being led to slaughter. They believe everything that comes out of his telepromter mouth while his actions are the complete opposite. People are easily flattered and gullible. I feel sorry for the deceived. 1984 is starting to look like nonfiction. We who stand for what is right will not ever give up. Stop being brainwashed by your media and by propaganda and open your eyes.

  19. why not make a joke about his wheelchair while you’re on a role…
    role >> roll

  20. The conclusion is a pretty far stretch from the evidence.
