Rep Barney Frank Calls Retention Bonuses “Extortion”
I’m watching suffering through Rep. Barney “Banking Queen” Frank (D-The Insane Asylum) on Face the Nation. First, the fat, blubbering fool just said that AIG executives shouldn’t get paid because of their poor performance.
By this logic, Barney’s salary should be right around $0.00.
Anywho…Dancing Banking Queen is trying to justify the Government stealing back the bonuses that they authorized, the Banking Queen said that retention bonuses are “extortion.”
I wonder if the Banking Queen knows that the US Government pays retention bonuses too? That’s right, the Department of Defense pays retention bonuses to critical skills MOSes.
I wonder if The Banking Queen thinks that these Soldiers are “extorting” the government, too? That’s a rhetorical question, because the answer is most likely, “Yes, Barney Frank does think that about our Military.”
Speaking of Military Retention Bonuses…
In their steady and deliberate effort to reduce the size, strength, morale, and effectiveness of the US Military, Congress has decided to cut funding for the Critical Skills Retention Bonus program:
Reductions to the program come in the wake of similar cuts to the Enhanced Selective Re-enlistment Bonus program and the Bonus Extension and Retraining, or BEAR, program.
Oh, and just a reminder that Congress gave themselves another raise this year, while seeking to cut the pay of…well…just about everybody else.

That Frank is trying to divert attention away from his culpability in this current economic mess, and his complicity in legislation that authorized the bonus payments to AIG, is not difficult to understand.
He’s a total POS.
As for Congress and their pay raise, they also voted themselves $92,000 each in petty cash.
Change we can’t possibly believe in.
My gawd, every time he opens his mouth…well…nuff said
