Andrew Breitbart has a great post today in the Washington Times about the proliferation of online goons and trolls emanating from the Left-o-sphere.
In fact, not just “emanating” from the left, but about the coordinated and deliberate strategy used by the Left:
The Huffington Post, Daily Kos and other left-leaning sites benefit from the right’s belief that there are rules and decorum in political debate and civic engagement. Of course, every now and then, a curious right-winger will go in and engage in discussion at a left-wing site, but rarely under purely disingenuous and mass coordinated means.
David Brock, John Podesta, am I missing something?
As a prolific consumer of online content, I value nothing more than the sincere expression of opinion that differs from mine. Sometimes I am even moved or swayed from my dogma. But that was not the type of communication that got Mr. Obama elected.
The American right is in a heap of trouble in a media age that doesn’t shun the goons and liars that have poisoned the political process and won the American presidency by breaking the rules of fair play. It is time to fight back, but it won’t be easy. The enemy is willing to do and say anything in order to win.
Well, I’m not your typical RightWing Nutcase. And I’m more than willing to roll-up my sleeves and bloody some noses in this dirty fight.
Now, if I could only find my marching orders…

The Other McCain on why he moderates comments at his blog:
As much as I love a good-free-for-all discussion, David Axelrod’s Astroturf troll army isn’t interested in discussion; they’re paid, full-time political propagandists, and they’re not going to use my bandwidth to spread their message.
American Power notes that this is exactly what the kids at Think Progress are attempting to do with Bill O’Reilly right now.
Riehl World View simply titles his post Sissies in the Mist, but states that the Right’s biggest enemy isn’t the Left:
The Left isn’t the Right’s worst enemy – the Right, more specifically, the sissies and the mostly pedestrian conservative mouthpieces waiting for their next big scoop via the RNC in our midst, are.

I hate saying it but I agree the conservatives’ biggest enemy are those who are conservative but are complacent and difficult to get fired up about anything political.
I think a lot are complacent BeCause many are grossly uninformed about exactly What, not who, is occupying DC.
Unfortunately they may also be of an attitude that if the Republican Party’s positions on Everything don’t match their own….they don’t want to be a part of it, ignoring the big picture.
Very foolish.

“I just don’t care anymore.”
WTF ?
I heard that from someone in his late 40′s who has always voted a straight Republican ticket and I just don’t understand how he Can’t be Angry !
He is well informed…..he just isn’t motivated to do anything.
It’s exasperating !
