  1. This blog used to be daily reading for me. Love it! But these twitter feeds? Excruciating. Sorry Rob. I don’t suffer from short attention span, and I need a little more meat with my potatoes.

    • Terr — thanks for the feedback. The Twitter feed is a weird experiment. I am an active user of Twitter, so it’s content that I’m generating anyway — I use a plug in that automatically compiles all of my Twitter posts from a single day and creates a post and then automatically posts them.

My intent is not to have them replace other content that I might write…rather it’s just additional content.

I know the reading is not for everybody, so I’d recommend just skipping them.

The primary reason I’m posting them is that my biggest source of ad revenue from this blog comes from text link ads — where people are buying text ads to increase their SEO on their own sites. These Twitter feeds generate a lot of extra, random content. My goal is to keep posting these Twitter compilations for a few months and then analysis my text ad sales to see if they are having an impact.

If they are not, I’d consider cutting them out, as I agree with you that they are not “great” or even “good” reading.

Again, thanks for the feedback and hope you stick around and enjoy the “meat and and potatoes” that I try to provide in the other posts.
