I like Jon Stewart’s The Daily Show. And I don’t hate The Colbert Report (though I hardly ever watch it).
Both guys are funny, entertaining, and sharp witted. Though their comedy does tend to skew (and skewer) pretty hard Left, and the butts of their constant political haranguing are almost always Conservatives — that’s fine. They’re both Liberals; it’s what they do.
But, still — I completely agree with Andrew Breitbart (writing in the Washington Times):
If the targets were switched and Democrats had the same five-day-a-week bull’s-eye placed on their heads, no one doubts that financier George Soros and Media Matters would wage a well-funded rampage to destroy Mr. Stewart and his scribes. Nancy Pelosi would be demanding a comedy Fairness Doctrine. And ‘The Daily Show’ and its partner in crime ‘The Colbert Report’ would be taken off the air within 30 days of electoral primaries and within 60 days of general elections to comply with McCain-Feingold.
If you doubt this, just look at the bulls eye that Conservative talk radio in general and Rush Limbaugh in particular have painted on their backs.
Rush makes fun of Liberals. Rush is hugely successful. Liberals and Liberal lawmakers attack Limbaugh and search for ways to shut him up or shut him down. The sitting President, made fun of by private citizen and entertainer Rush, attacks Mr. Limbaugh by name for daring to criticize him and his policies.
Which is because Liberals have a notorious and pathetic inability to laugh at themselves (even though everybody else is rolling in the aisle pointing and laughing at them).
I love the smell of chilling of dissent in the morning. Smells like hypocrisy.
Imagine if Rush wasn’t tweaking on hillbilly heroin and didn’t hose his hearing or purchase child prostitutes in the Dominican Republic. He wouldn’t have lost what little comedic edge he once possessed and just might have found himself sitting in John Stewart’s seat tonight.

Wow, patty, so much hate for such a small person. I think the point was how the left attacks on one hand and supports on the other, not that Limbaugh was addicted to pain-killers. Oops, sorry. this is pat I am addressing, the left wing, lying, hater. never mind.

Both are sold out liberals without an original thought on serious matters.
Mohamed’s railing against Rush is proof how insecure liberals are when it comes to the brilliant analysis, and twenty years of success Rush has had. When B-HO and his lackies attacked Rush recently, Rush’s ratings climbed dramatically, as did other conservative talk show hosts.
