Demise of the MSM

FOX News Destroys All Other Cable News Programs

While more than 300,000 American citizens were out protesting our governments out-of-control spending and indifference to the citizens who employ them, where did Americans turn for coverage of these historic protests?

CNN? MSNBC?

Nope.

From Drudge:

FOX RATINGS SURGE ON PROTEST COVERAGE
8-11 PM ET

FOXNEWS 3,390,000
MSNBC 1,210,000
CNN 1,070,000
CNN HEADLINE 909,000

FOXNEWS O’REILLY 3,980,000
FOXNEWS HANNITY 3,239,000
FOXNEWS GRETA 2,947,000
FOXNEWS BECK 2,740,000
FOXNEWS BAIER 2,401,000
FOXNEWS SHEP 2,185,000
COMEDY DAILY SHOW 1,777,000
MSNBC OLBERMANN 1,499,000
COMEDY COLBERT 1,446,000
CNNHN GRACE 1,336,000
CNN KING 1,292,000
MSNBC MADDOW 1,149,000
CNN COOPER 1,021,000

Is it really any surprise that Maddow and Cooper were dead last? Of course, they’re not really to blame…they were both at an actual teabagging party over at Rep. Barney Frank’s condo in Georgetown instead of preparing for the evening news…

Meanwhile CNN’s totally unbiased, non-agenda driven field “reporter” Susan Roesgen was out harassasing and yelling at citizens and their children, who had the gall not to answer her questions in the “I Love Obama” manner that she was expecting and demanding.

  1. I’m surprised those other network shows had ratings that high.
I wonder if CNN gets to count all those screens in every airport luggage claim area?
In other riveting news, CNBC SWEATS ‘OBAMA-BASHING.’

“There was a long discussion about whether CNBC has become too conservative and is beating up on Obama too much. There’s great concern that CNBC is now the anti-Obama network. The whole meeting was really kind of creepy.”

Only in liberal upside-down world would this be an issue.

  3. Look Keith try not to look at it as eighth place but rather third place after Fox News…. The A, B and C teams on Fox News of course, but hey what can I say?
