The Congressional Black Caucus — the otherwise-lovable racist segregationists that they are — are fawning all over Fidel Castro.

Chairwoman Barbara Lee (D-CA) and other Democrats heaped praise on Castro, calling him “warm and receptive” during their discussion.

“It was almost like listening to an old friend,” said Rep. Bobby Rush (D-IL), adding that he found Castro’s home to be modest and Castro’s wife to be particularly hospitable.

Castro asked the Democrat delegation, “How can we help? How can we help President Obama?” — by which he meant, “How can we help President Obama to destroy capitalism and implement socialism even faster.

Not that I think Obama needs any help on either front — he’s doing a fine job of both.

Don Surber nails it:

Liberals just don’t get it. They are so vested in redistributionism that they seem more loyal to a despicable tyrant like Castro — and I’ll add Saddam Hussein — than they are our own elected leaders.

I am not questioning the loyalty of liberals.

I am questioning their sanity. It makes no sense to side with Castro on a policy that has clearly worked in our favor. We are not responsible for Cuba’s demise; Castro and the anti-capitalism he promotes are.

Jules Crittendon notes that the real concentration camp on Cuba is not Guantanamo. But the rest of Cuba controlled by Fidel.

  1. Don Surber may not question the loyalty of liberals, but I certainly do.

In fact, there is no question; liberals are not loyal, patriotic Americans.

Every last one of them hates our country and wants us to fail.

  2. Colin, you need a cocktail my friend . . .

  3. I’ll join you in that cocktail Tom. Everyone knows that Fidel or Raul Castro are no friends of any free person.

  4. Actually, Ron, not everyone does know (or admit) that. Like the Congressional Black Caucus. Or Michael Moore. Or Susan Sarandon. Or George Clooney. Or…damn…I can’t name ‘em all…so let’s just give ‘em a convenient label. Something like…oh, I don’t know…Liberals.

  5. Robbie, the real answer to Castro’s question should be, “By dropping dead, you bloviated Communist fart.”

Of course, I don’t hold my breath for anyone in any kind of office to mention that.

1 week to Tea Party Protest Day!

  6. I don’t question their loyalty or patriotism, it doesn’t exist.
I listened to these whack-jobs from the Congressional Black Racist Caucus on a talk radio show, and they are as un-American as any leftist has ever been.

  7. My estimation of the Congressional Black Racist Caucus could be no lower than it has been for decades.
They can’t be ignorant of the anti-black sentiment that Castro’s despotic regime has always had, they sense an opportunity. Perhaps to profit politically, but I think they are more interested in profiting financially, much as B-HO’s legal counsel Greg Craig did, when he represented Castro in the Elian Gonzalez kidnapping, and return to his gulag island.
    Humberto Fontova.

The current issue of the Ottowa Citizen has a story mentioning how last week a guard at a ritzy Cuban hotel rudely shoved away a tourist from the hotel’s door.

The befuddled tourist was Canadian‚ but he was also black, you see. So please cut Raul Castro’s hotel henchman some slack. The poor guy was only doing his job. He clearly mistook the Canadian black for a Cuban black. And‚ mindful of his professional duties regarding such an encounter– performed very perfunctorily; “Outta here, ni*ger!” No explanation, no apologies, no nothing.

Imagine (!!!) the headlines had this happened in Birmingham, Charleston or Savannah! Instead this is standard-operating procedure in the Mecca for the Congressional Black Caucus, Jesse Jackson and Jeremiah Wright‚ and which hosts press bureaus for CNN, ABC, NBC, CBS, Reuters, AP, Al Jazeera and countless other outfits, who all trip over themselves to report any hint of “racism” in such as Jena Louisiana.

“The Negro is indolent and spends his money on frivolities, whereas the European is forward-looking, organized and intelligent… We’re going to do for blacks exactly what blacks did for the Cuban revolution. By which I mean: NOTHING!” (Ernesto “Che” Guevara.)

“Viva Che Guevara!” bellowed Jesse Jackson while visiting Havana in 1984. “Viva Fidel! Long live our cry of freedom!”

A few miles away from where the Rev. Jesse Jackson and his entourage of black American luminaries, (who included the Rev. Jeremiah Wright) showered his Stalinist hosts with accolades that day, the world’s longest-suffering black political prisoner suffered his incarceration and tortures in stoic defiance. “N**ger!” taunted his Castroite jailers between tortures. “We pulled you down from the trees and cut off your tail!”

This political prisoner was a black Cuban named Eusebio Penalver and he was being tortured by Reverend Wright’s gracious hosts. Mr Penalver’s incarceration and tortures stretched to 29 years which makes him the longest-suffering black political prisoner in modern history, surpassing Nelson Mandela’s record in time behind bars and probably doubling the horrors suffered by Mandela during this period.

This caucus is the enemy of freedom and liberty, and un-American.

  8. If having hilarious tea bagging parties keeps you guys from shooting people up, then I heartily endorse them.

    • Pat. you do know that 88% of all illegal gun violence in this country is perpetrated by people most likely to vote Democrat, don’t you (blacks and hispanics, mostly gang bangers, drug dealers, or other general low-life street thugs)?

  9. Patricia: Mao, a leftard like you, murdered a hundred million of his own people and he was inundated with tea.

  10. No I don’t know that and would be interested in seeing a citation to such a statistic.

Just to preface, I believe individuals have the right to possess firearms under the Constitution.

I was actually to referring the post-election reawakening of unhinged wingnuts like this guy:

Poplawski bought into the SHTF/TEOTWAKI conspiracy theories hook, line and sinker, even posting a link to Stormfront of a YouTube video featuring talk show host Glenn Beck talking about FEMA camps with Congressman Ron Paul. When the city of Pittsburgh got a Homeland Security grant to add surveillance cameras to protect downtown bridges, Poplawski told Stormfronters that it was “ramping up the police state.” He said, too, that he gave warnings to grocery store customers he encountered (but only if they were white) to stock up on canned goods and other long-lasting foods.

The fearmongering promulgated by provocateurs like Glenn Beck and yourself tend to validate these psychopaths’ worldviews.

We’ll always have common criminals with guns, most of which have little interest in staging an armed coup, much less taking on a whole SWAT team like this coward did. The election of a black president, on the other hand, presents the very real possibility that “law-abiding citizens” who own small armories of assault weapons just might get agitated enough to do just such a thing.

    • Google it up, Mohamed, it’s there.

    • I just realized what Mohamed was going on about.
He is using the analysis of a DUI murderer, Rick Sanchez, as a basis for claiming the Pittsburgh shooter was a conservative.
      How funny.
Dude in Pittsburgh was a Neo-Nazi, not a conservative, as Nazis were leftist, like Mohamed.

  11. Second part of above quote should have been:

Many of Poplawski’s conspiracy theories were gun-related. A gun rights activist who supported the open carry of firearms in Pennsylvania, Poplawski made statements typical of such activists. “The thing about gun control,” he wrote in December 2008, “is that if you pass a law restricting gun ownership, the only people who are going to follow that law are lawful citizens. Criminals are going to get guns no matter what.” In the same posting, in a tragic and ironic foreshadowing, he hypothetically suggested, “Hand everybody an AK and a sidearm. Everybody. And see how long these mass murdering sprees last, if anybody even dares to attempt them.”
