Ed Morrissey at Hot Air has posted his Obamateurism of the Day, which (sadly) is becoming a near-daily meme.

Apparently our Dear Leader’s teleprompter forgot to inform him of what language the denizens of Austria speak:

It was also interesting to see that political interaction in Europe is not that different from the United States Senate. There’s a lot of — I don’t know what the term is in Austrian — wheeling and dealing — and, you know, people are pursuing their interests, and everybody has their own particular issues and their own particular politics.

Ever heard anybody speak Austrian before? No, of course you haven’t…because it doesn’t exist.

I asked 10 different co-workers today, what’s the most common language spoken in Austria? All ten of them said German. Which of course is the correct answer. If the guy in the mail room knows this, why doesn’t our President?

Hopefully, Obama’s teleprompter will be updated before BHO visits Mexico to inform him that residents of Mexico speak Spanish, not Mexican or Mexicanese.
