I think this is a dog-bites-man story. The idea of a president bashing his countryman just seems, I don&#039;t know, baseless from the jump. Why would anyone aspire to, run for, and execute the land&#039;s highest office if they didn&#039;t have it in their heart? 

I don&#039;t think Bush was in it for oil revenue, and I don&#039;t think Obama is in it for any of Paul&#039;s points above--especially the giant-but-fragile ego angle. I think Paul could make some more cutting observations than that one.
