The idea of a president bashing his countryman just seems, I don't know, baseless from the jump. Why would anyone aspire to, run for, and execute the land's highest office if they didn't have it in their heart? I don't think Bush was in it for oil revenue, and I don't think Obama is in it for any of Paul's points above--especially the giant-but-fragile ego angle. I don’t think Bush was in it for oil revenue, and I don’t think Obama is in it for any of Paul’s points above–especially the giant-but-fragile ego angle. I think Paul could make some more cutting observations than that one.
