You would think that Democrats would learn that increasing taxes on the wealthy is a dumb idea that doesn’t work. Especially in state governments, where rich people can vote with their feet and move from areas of oppressive and unfair tax burdens (like California), to states that don’t punish success (like Texas).

This kid was a thug with a gun. The cop was not shooting at him because he was black; he shot the kid because he was reaching for a gun. Should the officer have waited for this punk kid to shoot him first before returning fire?
