My brother and his family just pulled into town from Ft. Jackson, South Carolina and are staying with us while they wait for the US Army to deliver their furniture and stuff to their new home and duty station in Houston.

While my wife, brother, his wife, and my niece are out shopping, I stayed home with my 8 and 10-year old nephews.

After a few games of Wii golf (Tiger Woods 09), we headed out to the garage because my nephews wanted to “learn about CrossFit”. Which meant playing on the pull up bars (with large resistance bands), learning to air squat, and playing on the Concept 2 rowing machine.

Which means that they are now fully tuckered out and napping on the couches in the living room. Which is exactly where our two Great Danes normally nap at this time of day:

And over on the love seat:

  1. Angus doesn’t look too happy about “sharing.”

  2. Angus=Annoyed.
    Jersey=Jello.

    Confiscated couches create confusing conundrum conditions.

  3. I’m going to nap with my small maltipoo now…

  4. OT, but a sad note for Blues fans.
    Koko Taylor died today.
    She was one of a kind.

  5. Jersey, the puppy, is taking up more room on that love seat than the 10-year-old nephew!
