I was pretty sure that sometime in the next 6-9 months Israel was going to burn Iran to the ground in a preemptive strike before Iran gets the chance to drop a[n] (Obama-endorsed) nuclear bomb on the Jewish state.
However, in the wake of Iran’s (fraudulent) election yesterday, and the ensuing riots and burning in the streets of Tehran — Israel might want to just sit back and watch Iran burn itself to the ground.
There is some tremendous coverage of the Iranian stolen elections by Ackminidjihad and the Mullahtocracy over at Memeorandum. As Andrew Sullivan (whom I’ll never link) said, “the revolution will be twittered.”
And blogged.

Exit Question: Has a tipping point been reached? My gut says even if that’s true, it probably won’t matter without strong US support for any popular revolt. And my brain says our current administration wouldn’t support that for all the quatloos in Klingon space.
The folks at CNET are wonderng how the folks at CNN managed to lose their map of the Middle-east just as Iran is melting down. The issue actually began on Twitter when someone created the #CNNFail hashtag due to the lack of coverage on CNN of developments in Iran.
It’s almost as if the Obama administration isn’t facing an International crisis said to be bad for its planned approach to Iran. Perhaps CNN will lose track of the Korean peninsula soon, too – given NorKor’s decision to weaponize their plutonium. Or, maybe they’ve decided to become the all good news network all the time to help America through troubled economic times?

Burn Iran Burn you murderous bastards!!!!!!!!!!!!
i wonder if there is anyway to actually re-count the votes, or if Iran has a mechanism to allow for that
Bowler, you indicate that you think Iran has a democratic process.
They do not!
They don’t have elections, they have circuses, as Michael Ledeen has pointed out so many times.
The mullahs decide who gets to run for political office, and they decide who gets elected.
This needs to be stated clearly and often.
Israel cannot attack Iran by air, without U.S. assistance. They don’t have the capability, first of all, and secondly, they would need approval from Iraq to fly over their air space.
With this current resident of the White House, that assistance and cooperation would never be forthcoming. As evidenced by the massive fund raising that took place for B. Hussein O. from the muslim world, including HamAss in the Phakestinian region, as well as his groveling to the keeper of the Kaaba.
Not since 1948, has Israel been in such peril, only now by a feckless, power mad, empty suit, who is controlled by dark overlords.
The guy they want in power is one of the people behind the 1983 U S Marine barracks bombing in Lebanon, killing 242 Marines.
Screw ‘em.
