Demise of the MSM

Obama’s BFFs in the Media

B. Hussein Obama temporarily replaced his teleprompter during his press conference today with an admittedly staged question with a writer from the hyper-Liberal Huffington Post:

In a clearly coordinated exchange, President Obama called on the Huffington Post’s Nico Pitney near the start of his press conference and requested a question directly from Iran.

“Nico, I know you and all across the Internet, we’ve been seeing a lot of reports coming out of Iran,” Obama said, addressing Pitney. “I know there may actually be questions from people in Iran who are communicating through the Internet. Do you have a question?”

Pitney, as if ignoring what Obama had just said, said: “I wanted to use this opportunity to ask you a question directly from an Iranian.”

It’s pathetic how much Obama has the most of the media in his pocket. Well, except for those members of the media that are actually in his jock.

My favorite take on the media circus today comes from, oddly enough, the Liberal Gawker:

In the end, of course, it doesn’t matter where the question—under what, if any, conditions Obama would accept an Ahmadinejad victory as legitimate—came from. What matters is whether it was a good question. It was, and Obama didn’t answer it.

Obama avoided answering a lot of questions today, getting testy with reporters who dared ask him tough questions. Why even go through the charade of a presser if you’re not going to actually answer any questions?
