Joe Biden confused about how budgets work: “We Have to Go Spend Money to Keep From Going Bankrupt”:

Vice President Joe Biden told people attending an AARP town hall meeting that unless the Democrat-supported health care plan becomes law the nation will go bankrupt and that the only way to avoid that fate is for the government to spend more money.

Uh huh, Joey. That’s how it works. Keep on spending more money than we can possibly ever bring in, and pretend that will prevent us from going bankrupt.

The Social Security Administration obviously got the VP’s memo,  as the nearly bankrupt government-pyramid-scheme agency decided to spend over $700K dollars on a posh weekend get away for 700 bureaucrats and their families.

What recession and belt-tightening were you thinking about?

Joe Biden has even less of a chance of leveraging his VP term into a Presidential upgrade as Al Gore does.
