Rep. Maxine Waters Threatens Blue Dog Democrats

Rep. Maxine Waters (Moron-CA) to Blue Dog Democrats: Do not listen to your constituents; you are beholden to the Democrat party.

Rep. Maxine Waters, an idiot almost without peer in Congress (and that’s really saying something), is making very thinly-veiled threats against Blue Dog and other moderate Democrats who have the temerity to listen to and act on behalf of their constituents by standing against Obamacare.

The delay prompted Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) to lash out at the Blue Dogs as hypocritical and even hint that more liberal Democrats might challenge them in primaries.

What Maxine is forgetting, is that the only reason these moderate and Blue Dog Dems were able to win is because they come from conservative districts. And if they leaned as hard left as Ms. Waters wants them to, they never would have been elected in the first place.

Wake Up America writes:

Then she threw a shot at White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel for recruiting moderates for those seats when he headed the House Democrats’ campaign arm, stating “The chickens are coming home to roost.”

The ignorance implied in that statement is astounding, or she simply chooses to forget that the reason conservative, moderate Democrats were chosen to run in many of those districts was because those districts were largely conservative and a progressive liberal to the far left wouldn’t have stood a chance to win those seats from Republicans.

She forgets also that what would threaten their seats is if they forgot they represent their constituents, not the Democratic party.

Because when politicians forget this, it’s not too long thereafter that their constituents find someone else to represent their values and wishes.

Maxine has already threatened to nationalize America’s oil industry, so it should come as no surprise that she’s biting at the chops (no, this is not a racial barb, comparing her to a horse) to nationalize the health care industry.

When you look at the degenerates that the people of California elect to represent them: Waters, Pelosi, Boxer, Feinstein, Waxman, Napolitano, Bono, etc….it’s little wonder that California is our nation’s most bankrupt (morally and otherwise) state.

If the Democratic Party decided to do something foolish like run some extremely liberal Democrat in that district; the Republican Party would absolutely annihilate them!

But I’m sure Republicans would love to see a more liberal type take on a BD and help spend their war chest in the primary effort. It would only make the mid-terms a little brighter for the GOP in those districts.
