Culture of Corruption: Is John Murtha the most corrupt politician in the history of the US?

I think the answer is: Most likely.

Hot Air has a post on the latest FBI investigation into the Murtha’s corrupt and often illegal misappropriation of earmarks to his friends and cronies:

The Washington Post reports on a new FBI investigation into contract fraud involving an Air Force project run out of Pensacola AFB.  Prosecutors focused on at least one Congressional earmark of $8 million for the project, which funded not the stated purpose of the project but a series of firms connected to the Congressman who issued the earmark.  The new allegations bring a series of corruption probes closer to John Murtha than ever before

On a Hill of despicable and greedy crooks…Murtha stands out as one of the most despicable humans to have ever been voted into Congress. I have such deep, deep doubts about the intelligence level of Pennsylvania voters.
