The NY Times: 7 Questions We’d Like to Ask Judge Sotomayor:

1) How awesome do you think Barack Obama is?

2) We know you’re you think you are smarter than white men? What about black men?  Or white women?

3) Why’d you quit your all-girls club recently?

4) Do you think you could have whipped Sandra Day O’Connor in a cat fight?

5) If you could repeal the 10th Amendment, you would, wouldn’t you?

6) Why do you hate white and Hispanic firefighters so much?

7) Please give three examples of judgments you rendered based on interpretation of the law, even though the outcomes were at odds with your individual views or sympathies.

OK, that last one was one of the actual questions posed by the NY Times. And a good one too.

Though a better one would be: give three examples of when you rendered a judgment based on your individual views and sympathies, when they were at odds with the law?

Of course, as often as she’s been overturned by the SCOTUS, those decisions would be fairly obvious, wouldn’t they?
