Rep. Barbara Boxer  (Moron-CA) has said a lot of dumb shit in her life — and this ranks right up there with the dumbest of them. Want to know how dumb it was? Left-leaners aren’t writing to defend Babs…they’re just letting it slide by:

Perhaps the best response to Boxer’s bewilderment at the site of average and ordinary citizens comes from Brian Walsh, communications director of the NRSC:

“When you consider that Barbara Boxer considers Code Pink and MoveOn.org protestors to be ‘her base,’ it’s understandable that a Senator representing the left wing fringe would be confused when ordinary Americans engage in free speech. But the fact of the matter is that across the country, Americans of all backgrounds are standing up and saying ‘no’ to the Democrats spending and health-care takeover proposals.”

The Left — and I don’t just mean Libtard bloggers and Obama’s State Run Media™, I also mean the Democrat leadership all the way up to Speaker Pelosi and President Obama — are trying to discredit citizens who have the temerity to oppose Obamacare as “mobs”, “fringe groups”, and “astro-turfers”.

Anything but what they actually are: a wide array of normal citizens standing up and saying “No” to the Democrats spending our country into complete ruin.

By now Boxer’s an embarrassment to the Senate’s Democratic caucus. She’s been stripped of a leading role on climate change legislation, and her recent gaffe on race relations is perfectly indicative of the left’s double standards on racial sensitivity.
