The Lie:

But what we will do is, we’ll have the negotiations televised on C-SPAN, so that people can see who is making arguments on behalf of their constituents, and who are making arguments on behalf of the drug companies or the insurance companies.

The Reality: Private meetings and private backdoor, quid-pro-quo deals with the Private health industry, pharmaceutical companies, and insurance executives. None of it shown on C-SPAN.

Is anything Obama promised during The Campaign of Hope and Change not a lie? Not so far…

What this may be is the biggest lie he’s told about “changing the culture in Washington”

It is truly unfortunate that President Obama did not keep those promises, but instead, chose to meet privately with healthcare executives, cut a deal with drug firms in secret, and outsourced the drafting of the Obamacare legislation to the highly partisan, Democrat-controlled Congress, thereby ensuring a very partisan Obamacare bill unacceptable to many, if not most of the American people.
