What an absolute craven coward:
Tim Bishop (D, NY-01) is having something called a “health care reform rally” on Thursday, at (of all things) SEIU’s Hicksville NY offices (1199 Duffy Ave, starts at 1 PM). This is otherwise known as “over twenty miles outside the borders of NY-01.” Bishop is of course one of the first Democrats holding down a Red district (NY-01 is a R+0) to discover that his constituents are paying attention to his votes: he rather famously canceled his future in-district meetings. Presumably he assumes that his constituents won’t drive twenty miles to complain.
Michelle Malkin adds: “When you can’t stand the heat, hide behind the Purple Shirts.”
Remember, People should not be afraid of their governments. The Government should be afraid of their people. And it looks like Rep. Bishop is afraid. It also looks like it’s time for the people of Ny-01 to find themselves a new representative.
Bishop skipped out on a town hall meeting this evening, which was announced on his website. It was to be at the Mastic/Shirley library on 08/12 at 7:00 PM. He was a no show! Now I have to go to Hicksville tomorrow to hear him tow the party line. I hope none of the union thugs gets too banged up if they try to prevent his constituents from speaking…
While Tim Bishop is in HICKSVILLE, why not have DUMP BISHOP protests outside his offices? And call the news media.
Sunday, none of the “dark side” showed up at the capital, except for 4! We had about 300 or so. It was a good meeting and I left after 2 hours and there was still a large part of the mob there.
Tonight, the email I received from ARW said that MoveOn was having an event tomorrow nite at the Texas Medical Association. Turns out it’s a false email. There is no event. Are the libtards just trying to figure out if we’ll show up???
We are still calling events & having them ‘visited’ by the other side. We have no problem with that as we outnumber them at all times. We went to the SEIU meeting and we outnumbered them again 3/1.
The fact remains..the left/liberal side can bring out their troops, but we will outnumber them and do it legally.
We are here to discuss issues, to follow the law and make sure the democratic procedure continues. We will stand for freedom and liberty, not control and submission to any goons.
Bishop has called (posted on his website-Mastic/Shirley event, made robo calls-SEIU event) and canceled the events. Now he is having another event later this month. We suspect this too will be canceled.
