Yesterday I wrote about Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (Racist-TX) after she rudely took a cell phone call in the middle of a question from a constituent at a health care town hall.
But that’s not even the most despicable thing that happened at Rep. Jackson Lee’s town hall — much like Obama’s staged town hall kabuki theater events, Queen Sheila also packed her town hall event with plants.
Note to Queen Sheila: if you’re going to use plants in your town hall events, at least try to use plants that are smarter than..well…actual plants.
In this case, Obama delegate Roxana Mayer. From the Houston Chronicle story (before they white-washed it to remove all evidence of shoddy, lazy reporting):
One supporter, Dr. Roxana Mayer, a physician who does not live in Jackson Lee’s district, praised the reform plan for overhauling a broken system.
“I don’t know what there is in the bill that creates such panic,” she said.
Ms. Mayer, presented herself as a primary care physician with four years of experience. Because, as a doctor, her support of health care reform take over would hold more credibility.
One minor problem though — Dr. Mayer is actually Ms. Mayer, a graduate student in Sociology at the University of Houston (where Queen Sheila’s husband “coincidentally” is a vice president for student affairs.
(NOTE: According to Mayer’s LinkedIn profile, she’s been a student at UH for 13 years. Yo, lady, graduate and get a job already…)
Doing the Job that Journalists are Too Lazy (or in the tank for Obama) to Do
The day of the town hall and the report by the Houston Chronicle, Patterico’s Pontifications and Lone Star Times immediately knew something was fishy about Ms. Mayer’s story (you know, ’cause they’re racists old white men who can’t believe that a young black woman could be a doctor).
A few minutes of research revealed that there were no doctors in Texas named Roxana Mayer. But that there was an Obama delegate and UH student by that name.
So, Patterico emailed her and the Lone Star Times called her. And guess what? The bitch admitted she lied about being a doctor. No shit, honey.
And why did she lie (other than probably being put up to it, because, frankly, chick really doesn’t seem smart enough to try to pull this off on her own)?:
Our own David Jennings secured a phone interview, in which Mayer admitted to impersonating a physician, saying — get this — she thought it would help her credibility. (It didn’t.)
Hey, when you can’t argue on the facts, just make shit up. You know…to help with your credibility.
Lone Star Times also notes that Ms. Mayer “coincidentally” arrived to the town hall with another plant…’Maria Isabel, the unhinged moonbat who ran a Barack Obama campaign office, complete with Che Guevara flag.”
Once Mayer was caught in her lie, you would think that she would be contrite. Au contraire, mon frère.
If I understand what’s going on here, you’re not a doctor, but you play one at town hall meetings.
Is that about it?
To which the super-duper credible Mrs. Mayer responded:
Do you mean play a doctor like you play a journalist? Then the answer is no. But who knows, that was only my first town hall meeting–even though I was a delegate. If I go to another one, which I seriously doubt because my husband is already extremely annoyed, then maybe I’ll play a plumber.
What a bitch.
Has Queen Sheila denounced this liar yet? Has anybody called the Dean of the Graduate School at the University of Houston yet to ask what their student honor code might say about Mrs. Mayer’s very public and very big lie about her credentials?

I can’t believe that the congresscritter and the reporter couldn’t spot her as a fake or if they were suspicious, didn’t deliberately refuse to check up on her. She does not comport herself like a physician and she does not speak like a physician.
Please report this to flag@whitehouse.gov – that’s the website Obama setup to report any fishy information being disseminated about the health care take over.
FISHY for sure!!!!!!

if honesty is so important to you, and you are so deeply offended by this woman’s lie, how can you justify spreading the lie that she was an intentional “plant” by Sheila Jackson? She was not.. she acted on her own. Don’t let your self-righteousness get in the way of a good story…continue spreading your own lie as you attack others for their dishonesty.
And your proof that she wasn’t a plant…?
Robbie, it’s unfortunate that you never took one of President Obama’s constitutional law classes when he was teaching at the University of Chicago law school. If you had, you would know that in America, it is the accuser who must prove his accusation.
In your column, you report that Roxana was planted by Rep. Lee as if you were stating a fact, thus you accuse Rep. Lee of dishonesty in this incident. You offer zero proof for your published accusation, and when called out on it, you respond by challenging others to prove your baseless accusations are wrong. And you can’t see that is irresponsible?
Granted, the “evidence” cited here… Roxana was an Obama delegate (one of thousands), she sat in the front row, she asked a softball question.. might arouse suspicions, but it proves nothing.
Likewise, I can’t prove she wasn’t a plant. But I can point out how unlikely it is that Rep. Lee would ask someone she knows to attend her town hall meeting, pretend to be a doctor, lie to the press, pose for a photo, and use her real name. What exactly would Rep. Lee be hoping to accomplish by this obviously stupid idea?
And if you had ever taken a Con Law class taught by anybody, you would know that they don’t cover that in Con Law. Dumbass.
Kerry,
Someone beat me to it already, but burdens of proof are not taught in Constitutional Law.
Stop licking the bottom of the guy’s shoe because he was a professor of ConLaw. I have taken ConLaw, and I know several professors who have taught ConLaw. Take it from me 1) teaching ConLaw to a bunch of students who have never had ConLaw (and are scared law students, taking it in their first year) doesn’t require a deep mastery of the Constutition; and 2) professors are usually professors – and not practicing attorneys – for a good reason. Think about it.
Sorry – it’s late, and I didn’t see the spelling error. Before anyone calls me on it: I know how to spell Constitution.
Dear Anonymous Name-Caller… While I have never attended law school, I do know that the Fifth Amendment to the Constitution contains the “due process of law” statement. One of the fundamental principals of that due process is the burden of proof resting upon the accuser. That was my point.
And to Black Magister: to suggest that one can obtain a position on the faculty of the University of Chicago School of Law (currently ranked 6th in the nation)without a mastery of the Constitution, is absurd on its face.
Personally, I like having a president who taught Constitutional Law for 12 years.
Kerry, you’ll have to forgive me. The Framers of the Constitution saw fit to create a specific group (the judiciary, specifically, the Supreme Court)whose SOLE JOB is to interpret the Constitution. That job doesn’t fall with the executive.
Rather, his or her job is to execute (see how the words are similar?) the laws sent to him by the legislative branch. In that respect, s/he should be more experienced (to simplify it greatly) in “operations management” much like a chief executive officer. There’s that “executive” word again. Funny how that thing keeps creeping up!
So, in the sense that I’d rather leave the Constitution to the professionals whose sole purpose in life is to eat, sleep, and breathe the Constitution, I’d also like my executive to have experience in executing things.
I guess I’m just old-fashioned. You’d prefer your executive to be a Constitutional scholar (which is fine, if he was applying to be an attorney, judge, or justice); I’d prefer mine to be an executive. Experience in a previous position as an executive, such as governor (GWB, Reagan, or Clinton, if you’d like a more comfortable example). Also, and this is a self-serving, yet relevant example, because I likened the job of running the nation like running a business, I think some business experience (or education) would be useful.
I know you’ll attack it, but GWB had an MBA from Harvard, which, while I haven’t checked the latest handy-dandy “ranking” poll, I would presume is pretty high up on the list for business schools.
It’s nice that he has Constitutional training, but it doesn’t do him much good in the role he is limited to by the very same document. In fact, his Constitutional knowledge is irrelevant in the sense that he can’t really do much with it except pointing out when something is unconstitutional, which, again, is not his job.
If you didn’t read this far, here’s the executive (darn!) summary: Presidents are, and should be, executive officers.
>>>If you didn’t read this far, here’s the executive (darn!) summary: Presidents are, and should be, executive officers.<<<
I did read this far; several times, in fact, looking for a flaw in your logic. I can't find one, so I'll just concede the point that most US presidents – at least in modern times – had executive branch experience as the stronger points on their resume. President Obama had none, and this was a legitimate criticism of him that was certainly discussed from day one in the campaign.
If it didn't persuade enough voters that he wasn't qualified, it was probably because they weren't thinking like you, in terms of separation of powers, but rather at the totality of his government experience; constitutional scholar, state legislator, US Senator.
In politics, the lines dividing the 3 branches of government get crossed all the time; lawyers run for congress, retired legislators get appointed to the bench in circuit court, and anyone with public visibility and track record of success can easily launch a viable campaign for an executive office like mayor or governor.
Like any hiring decision in the business world, there are other factors besides a job applicant's direct experience in a specific field that can carry weight.
Well, that is certainly a point for debate as well. I wouldn’t consider his professorship government experience, but that’s my personal opinion, and you obviously hold a different one. We are getting away from the topic, though, and I’d rather not let this discussion stray any further than it already has. We’ve gone from a suspicious person impersonating a doctor at a town hall meeting to the qualifications of the executive. If you have anything else to say on the original matter, I’d be happy to discuss.
Bullshit! You are the one being dishonest.
If she is was an obama delegate and currently an OfA lead organizer, damn right Lee knew who she was and that she wasn’t a doctor. How gullible can you be? And, she was sitting right up front where all the donkey plants are seated.
That’s not what you said and that was not your point. You said obama teaches criminal procedure in his constitutional law class. You’re wrong. Your point was to act snooty and attack Robbie. As a result, you made yourself look like an idiot.
And you are continuing to make a fool of yourself in this post. You deliberately chose to ignore this language in your quote: “criminal case.” This is a blog – not a court of law and not a criminal case.
No, it makes BLACK MAGISTER one smart dude, not distracted by b.s. Furthermore, obama demonstrates his lack of mastery of our Constitution every day.
Your opinions are unimpressive.
It saddens me to hear that my opinion has failed to impress an anonymous name-caller of your stature. But then I remember that my opinion was shared by 52.9% of the voters on November 4, and I cheer up once again.
“Dr. Mayer is actually Ms. Mayer, a graduate student in Sociology at the University of Houston (where Queen Sheila’s husband “coincidentally” is a vice president for student affairs.”
Hmm, acted on her own? Possibly… but not very likely.

A 13 year student! Hahahahahah! Sharpest knife in the drawer, I bet. 13 year student….Hahahaha
Jackson is such a crackpot, only another crackpot would defend her.
She’s the idiot who accused the weather service of racism because they weren’t giving hurricane “black” names. LOL
Yep…
Queen Sheila whined that the weather reports should be broadcast in “language” that black people can understand because one of the problems that occurred in New Orleans was that black people couldn’t understand the seriousness of the situation, due to the “racially biased language” (i.e plain English) of the weather report.
I guess she has something like Ollie Williams (Family Guy) doing “Black-u-weather” in mind:
Of course, we’ve seen what happens when black people try to do the weather:
The difference is that a journalist doesn’t need a medical degree, take a board exam and get a license, and if a journalist screws up, he doesn’t kill people.
And this person plans on being a social worker?
Yes, we already figured out that you were one of the 70% of high school drop outs obama won.
Since this plant isn’t a DR, of any sort, has she committed a crime in impersonating one?
