White House: “Punch Back Twice as Hard”, SEIU Thugs Respond Literally

These people are the enemy

These people are the enemy

Yesterday, in a post that was eerily percipient, I wrote that Obama was inciting violence by calling out his brown purple-shirted SEIU union thugs to use the “persuasion of power” to silence — by any means — those who oppose his government take over of the health care industry.

At a St. Louis town hall held by Rep. Russ Carnahan (D-MO), uniformed SEIU thugs showed up and did what union thugs do: used the “persuasion of power” to physically attack a Conservative protestor:

Kenneth Gladney, a 38-year-old conservative activist from St. Louis, said he was attacked by some of those arrested as he handed out yellow flags with “Don’t tread on me” printed on them. He spoke to the Post-Dispatch from the emergency room of the St. John’s Mercy Medical Center, where he said he was waiting to be treated for injuries to his knee, back, elbow, shoulder and face that he suffered in the attack. Gladney, who is black, said one of his attackers, also a black man, used a racial slur against him before the attack started.

“It just seems there’s no freedom of speech without being attacked,” he said.

Here’s the video:

Since the Tea Party movement started, millions of concerned citizens have turned out to raise their voice against their increasingly out-of-control government. And not one single act of violence has occurred.

Then, one day after the White House’s  exhortations for union thugs to “punch back twice as hard” and “get in their faces“, right on schedule, the SEIU union punk-ass-bitches show up and the violence begins.

This is the Chicago way. And now it’s the White House way: Obama stated very clearly that he wants his very own “paramilitary domestic security force.” Seem like he’s found it in the SEIU thugs (who donated $61 million to the Obama campaign).

Time to Stand and Fight Back

The violence has begun folks, it will only get worse from here. There will be blood. Which, sometimes is necessary; sometimes confrontation must happen to evoke true change. Gird your loins.

If you care going to attend a town hall, a tea party event, or anywhere else to protest anything Obama is doing, be prepared:

  • Make certain there are plenty of video cameras among the protestors;
  • Use the heavies in the movement (there are always some — guys exactly like me) as a flying shield against the aggressors. We’re not going to attack, but we’re not going to do some Ghandi number either.
  • Be prepared for worst, this includes, first aid and ambulance calls, not to mention lawyers for lawsuits.
  • Think ahead — The enemy will attack with fists. When that doesn’t work, they will use clubs. After that, as they become increasingly desperate, I wouldn’t begin to speculate.
  • No one will help us, least of all the Republican party. The authorities will always be late if they are available at all.

And don’t forget the second amendment, and that many states have “stand your ground” laws. In May of 2007, Senate Bill 378 authorized Texans to legally defend themselves with deadly force in many instances without first having to retreat.

Obama has declared war. It’s time to let him know that we’re not going to back down.

Blogs of War: “This is likely to get worse. The AFL-CIO just declared these town halls to be their principal battleground.”

The Jawa Report: “Left Wing Thugs Exhorted By White House To “Punch Back Twice As Hard” Attack Conservative Activist At Meeting”

Michelle Malkin: “I’m excerpting a portion of my Culture of Corruption chapter on the SEIU. This is what you are up against.”

St. Louis Tea Party:

The union thugs received preferential treatment from Carnahan’s handlers all night, as documented on Gateway Pundit.  Apparently, the union thugs don’t realize that their right to do whatever they want ends where conservatives’ noses begin. I expect an apology from Russ Carnahan who invited the thugs, gave them their own ViP entrance and preferred seating.

Patterico’s Pontifications:

I guess the Democrats were right after all. At a town meeting held by a Democrat congressman, a rowdy group of organized and angry thugs showed up to make a point about ObamaCare, and then beat up a man. Race was involved, too: the victim was black — attacked by a man yelling racial slurs.

Gateway Pundit:

Carnahan reserved a section at the event for union supporters.

He blocked the 1,000 tea party protesters from entering the event and even had his supporters enter in a side door.

  1. Google/Youtube is doctoring the page view numbers on this video, limiting it as of a few minutes ago at 313. It has been embedded at several high traffic blogs and the idea that it’s only been watched 313 times is simply ridiculous. My only idea is that by keeping it low, it looks like it’s not being watched and is therefore not important.

  2. Robbie, there are more Tea Parties scheduled for all over Texas. Would it be possible for us to get you PGRers involved that are unhappy with what is going on with the Marxist in Chief now in the Oval Office?

I am sending you an email so try to answer it.

  4. I wonder how the black and hispanic SIEU flunkies feel about a black man getting his butt kicked? So much for brotherhood, ACLU, NAACP, et al. Unions are how the NAZI movement in Germany came to power. They are the collective and they are dangerous. Race, Religion, nothing will stand in thier way. I bet Obama laughed this one off. Jesse Jackson had Obama pegged just right.

  5. Aww, now that your little putsch is being met with some real resistance you’re crying foul about it? Man you wingnuts have such thin skin! These protesters have no interest allowing free speech or persuading anyone with logic or reason, they’re simply amassing at these events to bare their bully teeth and disrupt peaceful public forums using the preferred speech-stifling tactics of authoritarians throughout history.

By the way, where are the GOP congressmen on this? Why aren’t they out there providing a forum for these angry mobs to tell everyone to keep the government out of thier Medicare? (hehe) Surely that’s not an organized effort on the GOP’s part because we all know this movement is purer than Kentucky bluegrass. Funny, but Lloyd Doggett gets mobbed by opponents last week and he’s planning more townhalls this month, yet Republicans won’t even gather their supporters on this issue. Apparently they want to reap the benfits of the goon squads marching to their orders while distancing themseleves as from them as possible.

  6. These protesters are such peaceful concerned Americans. Why on earth would anyone be intimidated by their tactics?

An official with SEIU, which has been sending members to town halls to counterbalance the Tea Party brigade, sends over this audio of a phone call the union says it received on its central voicemail system: “I suggest you tell your people to calm down, act like American citizens, and stop trying to repress people’s First Amendment rights,” said Diana. “That, or y’all are gonna come up against the Second Amendment. Stop the violence.”

And twitterer Scott Oskay says this:

If ACORN/SEIU attends these meetings for disruptive purposes, and you have a license to carry….carry.

  7. OK I take that back. This is very serious. The horrible unspeakable violence visited against these protesters makes the Birmingham Bridge March look like a school field trip.

    – Two men were arrested for misdemeanor assault for allegedly punching, pushing and holding a man who was handing out American flags and fliers outside the school.

    – One woman was arrested for misdemeanor assault and destruction of property for allegedly pushing another woman who was recording the events on her cell phone, then grabbing the phone and breaking it.

    – One woman was arrested for interference and resisting arrest. One officer used pepper spray on the woman, police said, when she did not comply with officers’ demands. That woman “just would not leave,” when asked by officers to back away from the scuffles, said spokesman Rick Eckhard said. She also passively resisted when an officer tried to handcuff her, he said.

    – One man was arrested for peace disturbance when he entered a circle of people who had gathered near the pepper-sprayed woman and refused to comply with officers’ demands to leave.

    – Post-Dispatch reporter Jake Wagman also was arrested for allegedly interfering.

  8. The St.Louis Tea Party will host a protest on the beating of Mr. Gladney on Saturday in front of the SEIU Hq.

The Tea Party specifically requests the NAACP and the ACLU to come out in support of Kenneth Gladney’s rights which were trampled by these hooligans. We call on Representative Russ Carnahan to denounce the beating. We call on President Obama to denounce the beatings. We call on St. Louis County to prosecute the assailants to fullest extent of the law.

Also, check out this post at Gateway Pundit.
Complete with video of the slimy weasel Carnahan, as he writhes and wiggles.

  9. On August 9 at 11 am, Barry’s political thugs, Organizing for America, will be on the south steps of the state capital to root for ObamaCare. My understanding is that this group is funded by MoveOn (Soros).

The ARW, of which I’m a member but lately don’t attend, is asking that we show up and bring our friends and family. It’s a request through Americans for Prosperity.

My point in this is that I think this group has some somewhat “rough” history and I hope that those of you who can provide some protection attend. I’d really hate to see some of these women or their families injured by these thugs. Just an FYI.

  10. NO2LIBERALS:

So the outside of the knees won’t work? Dang, screws up everything I have been taught. Actually, my few Tae Kwon Do courses said to bash my forehead against their noses. Grabbing their liberal ears, first. I’ll give it a shot. Thanks! Heh.

    • The outside works okay, but on the inside, there is a nerve that runs across the joint. Even if you don’t destroy the joint, the pain will make the person see God.
If you can take the air and/or vision away, the person will panic, and is much easier to control.
Never forget who you are dealing with.

  11. Wow. Just wow. I will make that You Tube as viral as I can.

I want to reiterate, though. I’m worried about all the nice ARW women encountering the thugs. I have no doubt these libtards are capable of a lot of damage.
