Better for me if there's no bill. Worse for you guys if there is no bill. So...please, just keep fighting it.

I agree it's frustrating, but to me it is more anger provoking. This is a power grab, plain and simple. If it were truly about health care reform, or as Nancy Piglosi now calls it, "health insurance reform," then the congress critters wouldn't exempt themselves from its coverage.
Better the frustration of fighting this thing now, than the frustration of trying to weave your way through the maze of agencies and commissions, when your health is failing, and they shuffle you around to deny you the care you need.

It's just so friggin frustrating.

You are correct. The devil is in the details, and the details would be worked out later in the numerous federal commissions and agencies, after the broad outline is passed as legislation.

On this post I made a little while back, click on the chart to enlarge, and know this, each of the federal agencies and commissions on that maze that is colored, is a brand spanking new federal organ created by this disaster of a house bill. This would in no way be an improvement over what we have now, and the problem now is cost, not access or quality of service, except for Medicaire.

The pharmaceutical companies are given a 'Chicago' choice in this.
Either sign on, or be excluded from this and any future discussions involving your industry. B-HO pulled this on them and the AMA. Loss of access is a major weapon.

Yep. People say X is not in the bill. Well, it will be. You can count on it.

I heard the donks made a deal with the pharmaceutical companies. They will spend a 150 million for advertising to get this piece of crapped passed, if Obama doesn't negotiate lower prices for drugs.

Nice sell out!

Having worked in Regulatory Affairs for a drug company, I just want to point out one thing. Any bill Congress passes will be converted to regulations by Health and Human Services as interpreted by AGENCY personnel and these regulations are what everybody will have to follow.

It's going to be brutal.
