I had the pleasure of meeting Brianna with her mother and her Aunt. We sat at dinner and discussed her college future in Political science. She was a bright star. I met her again at her Aunt's wedding where she told me she was on track with her schooling and her dreams. This is the type of tragedy you hear about, but it isn't someone you know. I knew her if only for two short meetings. But she left a very positive impression on me. Her future was very bright and she would have changed the world in some form of fashion. My sincere thoughts go out to her mother and her Aunt whom I have met and the rest of her family.

John 11:25-27
Jesus said to her, I am the resurrection and the life: he that believes on me, though he die he shall live; and everyone who lives and believes on me, in no way shall die forever. Believest thou this? She says to him; Yea, Lord; I have believed that thou art the Christ, the son of God, who into the world comes.

Dearest Julie and Allan,
Our deepest heartfelt wishes and prayers go out to you right now. We are praying for your hearts and spirits. Brianna was a beautiful child of God. She embodied the best of her parents and her Lord. We are glad to have known her and the two of you. God's peace upon you now and always.

Brianna had been faithfully worshipping and receiving the Lord's Supper with us at St. Paul Lutheran Church for the past several months. I'm deeply saddened that we will not have the opportunity to see what we expected of Brianna's bright earthly future blossom in front of our eyes. Yet while we grieve the loss of Brianna, we find comfort and solace that she has now received her bright eternal future, and already rejoices in the presence of her Lord, free of pain, suffering, and sin. Our love and prayers go out on behalf of her family.

additionally, I could not help but notice that she had met with John Stossel. A very prominent memory I have of Brianna, is her relationship with our high school economics teacher Mr. Hyenous. He constantly referred to Stossel's books and ideas, we watched countless videos of John Stossel in class. Being that Brianna and Mr. Hyenous were so close, I can't help but smile that she met with John Stossel.

I'm sure she found some humor from it after the four years of Stossel-obsessed references in high school.

Brianna and I went to LHN together in Houston, she was a grade or two ahead of me, and I have seen her around campus occasionally.. as recently as last wednesday. We never talked much, but in high school we had classes together and I had the opportunity to witness what a sincerely wonderful person she was. She had drive, eloquence, and humility. Characteristics that are difficult to find nowadays. She was a great role model and a hard-working student who strived for education. She was a government and political philosophy major, and she was one that it hurts to lose. I remember thinking to myself that she was going to go so far... she could really make a difference.. and it really. really. breaks my heart to know that this has happened to such a good person. It pains me to see such a tragedy, not only to her loving family and her dear friends, but to the places she was going to go, the people she was going to affect, and the things she was going to change.

So from the bottom of my heart, with the most sincerity, You will be missed Brianna. Rest in Peace, and may Heaven be all you ever thought it would be and more.

My utmost prayers to her family and close friends.
