I didn't call you liar because I'm a racist, I called you a liar because YOU ARE A LIAR.
Michael Meyers, executive director of the New York Civil Rights Coalition, asks a question that is sure to get his Liberal card revoked. From the NY Daily News:
Why can’t liberals who support Obama make an intelligent argument without accusing those who disagree with us of racism, and sideswiping other liberals who, like me, when I heard Obama’s speech, reflexively agreed with Wilson’s sentiment – to wit, “Mr. President, you lie!”?
Because most Liberals don’t have an intelligent argument when it comes to defending Obama’s failed policies. So instead they simply accuse anybody who disagrees with Obama as “racist.” And why? Do they do it?
…those who so cavalierly play the race card are actually insulting Obama. When Obama’s supporters feverishly play the race card they know exactly what they’re doing – they are trying to stop the conversation. But Obama says he wants to encourage dialogue, so the racialists who back him do him no favor.
Which is spot on. Unhinged Liberals are frying their brains trying to find a way to get the government to silence Rush Limbaugh and the entirety of Fox News. That we’re allowed to have dissenting views drives them batshit crazy.
And finally…something that any honest Liberal should be able to admit:
To my ears, Obama’s speech before Congress was a bundle of contradictions – one big, fat lie. I did not buy his claim that real health care reform, the kind we on the left can believe in, won’t add a “dime” or even a penny to our out-of-control federal deficit. Nor did I hear anything credible from him about controlling the skyrocketing costs of Medicare and Medicaid. The promises he listed simply did not add up. I said to myself – not being on the floor of Congress at the time – “you lie.” That heretical thought did not make me a “racist.” Nor did the expression of the idea make Joe Wilson a “racist.”
Obama did lie. Hell, nearly every time he opens his mouth nothing but lies spew forth.

You should all be used to nothing but lies spewing forth after surviving the Bush Administration. Besides, we’ve been in trouble ever since Reagan and as a result, here we are in our wonderfully americanized air conditioned nightmare. Ahhhhh, good ole capitalism, hasn’t it served the world well? Dystopia, here we are!
YES!
Yes it has.
The only statement in your post that is correct and worth repeating.
If World War II was the war against fascism, then the fascists won.
Only temporarily.
The Ø, the jackasses, and all their little Marxist brown-shirts will be gone soon, though they can do a lot of damage before they are gone.
I am so tired of people commenting on Obama’s failed policies. Unless I am mistaken he has been in office less than a year. Since when has anything in Washington been accomplished in such a short time. I am probably one of the few white, middle class, married and mother-of-two in the state of SC to vote for the President. Do I think he was the absolute best man for the job? No. Do I think he was the better option on the ticket? Absolutely! I am very tired of having to choose what the worse of two evils are and make my decision based on that. If there had been another republican put into office, we would have been stuck with the status quo. I don’t think there can be much arguement, that a drastic change wasn’t needed. Where have all of the good guys gone? The decent can’t get elected because they won’t compromise their beliefs for the money the lobbyists can throw @ them. The ones that do, have sold their soul to the devil and yet we are surprised when we find out they are crooks. I think impeachment is not used enough. When a politician is caught in compromsing or scandalous situations they should be immediately asked to resign or else. Is this drastic? Maybe. Why do we continue to lower the bar of expectations for those that represent us to the world? Maybe I’m old fashioned but I feel like it is a priviledge that we have bestowed on them to hold ofice. If they do not value that priviledge they should be relieved of it.
Failed policies? Tell that to the Czechs and Poles.
You are soooooo right.
“…asked to resign…”? If they had a molecule of honor, they’d set their affairs in order, resign their office and do the honorable thing, preferably with a fresh hemp rope or a large caliber revolver.
When we talk about the O’s failed policies, we mean things like his promise that unemployment would remain below 8% if only we granted his Make-A-Wish for trillions in misappropriated “stimulus” funds. And then there’s the transparency of his administration…which he promised his supporters, last year. How’s that working out for ya? All those bills placed on the web for public review? How about a smidgen of leadership? The man can’t even deliver his own party’s votes for the big medical power grab.
Face it, he’s an empty suit, with no ideas, who couldn’t lead a girl scout troop or successfully run a lemonade stand.
If there’s so many billions to be recovered from fraud and waste in MediCare, let’s see him recover it, and prosecute those who caused it, when laws were broken….then I might be willing to play out a little slack for the man.
I suspect, like with the housing debacle, a lot of that would lead back to his own party members.
Ah, well, one can hope…

I agree with Michael Meyers. It baffled me that people fell for Obama’s lies. I did not vote for him I saw thru His smooth, articulate speech. I saw a person who was full of lies as those in politics are. People obviously didn’t stop to think that “Change” can work both ways, it can be a change for good, or for deception/bad. And we are experiencing the “Change” of the latter”. This man pops on the scene and is a black man that speaks elequently and that qualifies him to be president, unbelievable. People were wowed by his speech, and that he sounds intelligent. Ignorance is inexcusable and we are feeling the consequences of this idiotic error,I was appalled at the people who blown away by this horrible tatic, I gave Amercia more credit than that but regrettably I was wrong. America is in trouble. We just have to go thru what we have to go thru do to this horrible error. I am so glad it is only for 4yrs (and he is doing a lot of damage within those 4yrs)and we can move on hopefully learn our lesson, and be more discerning when selecting the next leader of our great country, with the understanding that they are human, they are in the business that holds to lies and cover ups etc. But we can try to vote for a leader that has America’s best interest at heart and not the enemies, and that stand by their allies and not th enemy, also one that does not go to the enemy and on national television degrade America. America Bless God, God Bless America. I love my country.
