In one week, Andrew Breitbart’s newly launched BigGovernment.com Website took a story about the institutional criminal behavior at ACORN that 1) Pelosi said she was completely unaware of (lie), 2) that Obama said he was barely paying attention to (lie), and 3) that the MSM was intentionally and willfully ignoring and sweeping under the rug — and in one week spurred the Census Bureau to fire ACORN and the House and the Senate to come together in the first real display of bipartisanship since 2001 to strip ACORN of it’s federal funding. Oh, and the criminal investigations, indictments, and arrests are sure to follow.
Breitbart’s team and true investigative reporting single-handedly took down the Democrat vote machine/criminal enterprise ACORN. And in so doing, also started a chain of dominoes that will continue to unveil Breitbart’s real target: the compliant Obama State Run Media™.
Over the weekend, Breitbart teased that the next bombshell and exposé would drop this week…and the target is the National Endowment of the Arts (NEA).
You can read the introduction to the story here at Big Hollywood, but this paragraph explains why this story is so important:
This practice has never been the historical role of the NEA. The NEA’s role is to support excellence in the arts, to increase access to the arts, and to be a leader in arts education. Using the arts to address contentiously debated issues is political subversion. And the fact that the White House played a role in encouraging the arts to address contentious issues should also be considered a government overreach.
Much like they did with ACORN, the Democrats and the White House are using a federally subsidized non-profit (NEA) to work on the political agenda and policies, and for the sole benefit of the Democrat party.
Michael Skolnick, political director for hip-hop mogul Russell Simmons, who is involved up to his neck with this state-sponsored propaganda, was clear on this:
“…the President has a clear arts agenda and has been very supportive of using art and supporting art in creative ways to talk about some issues that we face here in our country, but also to engage people. And I think all of us who are on this phone call, you know, were selected for a reason…”
“And so I’m hoping that through this group, and the goal of all this, and the goal of this phone call, is through this group we can create a stronger community amongst ourselves to get involved in things we’re passionate about as we did during the campaign. But to continue to get involved in those things, to support some of the President’s initiatives, but also to do things that we are passionate about and to push the President and push his administration…“
And more from the investigative reporter Patrick Courrielche:
Setting up a propaganda machine is a dangerous precedent. The creation of a machine to address any issues, even ones with noble intentions, can be wielded by the state to create a climate amenable to the policies of those in power. Does anyone believe that once these artists are in place and we move to the election cycle, that the art they create will be bipartisan?
Uh, no. I don’t believe they would.

Ed Morrissey at Hot Air:
The White House has tried to campaign hard for its health-care overhaul, but now allegations have arisen that the Obama administration abused its power by pushing the National Endowment for the Arts into campaigning for it as well.
[snip]
If true, the White House may have substantiated one of the arguments conservatives use for the abolition of the NEA as well as abused its power — and they have the audio to prove it.
[snip]
Does this break the law? That’s questionable, but it certainly breaks the trust of the American taxpayer. We do not fund the NEA for it to produce Leni Riefenstahl-type art. If the NEA wants to go into policy activism, then it should become a private foundation with private funding, and Congress should cut it loose.
Is any of this legal? The use of White House employees to drive a purely partisan agenda?
Leveraging the NEA’s taxpayer funds as a blunt weapon to force artists to create state-approved propaganda?
I’m no expert, but I suspect some big shoes have yet to drop.
Did the Obama administration use the National Endowment for the Arts to try to gin up some support for health care and cap and trade in a recent conference call?
It surely looks like it. And if that’s the case, then the NEA appears to have violated the Hatch Act that prohibits government employees from soliciting political activity from people who get government grants.
You know, like the artists on the NEA conference call.
And that’s not the only law the administration and its non-profit allies appear to have broken.

FoxNews whores must really think we were all born yesterday, as if we can’t recognize hypocrisy in it’s purest form.
The consensus is that you are stupid and dishonest, patricia.
Flush please.
There is a cancer on the Presidency.
I disagree, Wayne. The Presidency is the cancer…
The Presidency is the cancer…
Touché.
I can only ponder how many straws it will take, and which will be the one to actually break the back of this president.
This guy, B-HØ, will most likely go down as the most corrupt president of all time. Only nine months into his only term, and he is unraveling faster than the threads on Michael Moore’s pants.
That’s a sight I definitely have no interest in seeing. PUKE TIME.

all of the news stories this week seem to have the overpowering stench of B.O.
If I remember correctly, there was something in the cap and trade bill that passed the house that called for “retraining” (brainwashing) the American public on energy issues to get them to buy into this bs. I bet they were going to use the NEA to do it.

GOP steps on it’s own tits
I will certainly check out BigGovernment.com to get the facts on ACORN which is seriously corrupt and in bed with Obama. His will go down in history as the most corrupt, the weakest foreign policy, and the most disastrous economic policy. The liberal spend, tax, print more money plan has no basis of common sense or reality, just as the delusional utopian spins offered by the Marxist biased media has no credibility. Keep exposing the truth behind ACORN, Obama, and corrupt government. America is waking up.
The bill passed by both the Senate and House to de-fund ACORN is written so broadly that it literally compels the de-funding not only of that group, but also the de-funding of, and denial of all government contracts to, any corporation that “has filed a fraudulent form with any Federal or State regulatory agency.” By definition, that includes virtually every large defense contractor, which — unlike ACORN — has actually been found guilty of fraud.
The amount of money that ACORN has received in the past 20 years altogether is roughly equal to what the taxpayer paid to Haillburton each day during the war in Iraq.
