Unrepentent Terrorist Bill Ayers, moments before confessing to writing Obama's "Dreams of My Father"

The HOT story today is the confession from Obama’s BFF Bill Ayers that he did in fact write Obama’s biography, Dreams of My Father.

This isn’t news to Conservatives…we’ve been trying to uncover Obama’s campaign lie that Ayers was someone who simply “lived in his neighborhood whom he barely knew.”

The fact is that the two men are not just ideological buddies, but longtime colleagues, friends, and confidants.

Chicago blogger Anne Leary at Backyard Conservative ran into Bill Ayers at the airport, and go this zinger from him once she identified herself:

Then, unprompted he said–I wrote Dreams From My Father. I said, oh, so you admit it. He said–Michelle asked me to. I looked at him. He seemed eager. He’s about my height, short. He went on to say–and if you can prove it, we can split the royalties. So I said, stop pulling my leg. Horrible thought. But he came again–I really wrote it, the wording was similar. I said I believe you probably heavily edited it. He said–I wrote it. I said–why would I believe you, you’re a liar.

I’ve read Dreams of My Father, and I’ve read the mountains of evidence that points to Ayers being the author rather than Obama (seriously…who writes a biography at age 34 after having accomplished absolutely zero at that point in life?)

Much, much more at Memeorandum.

I’m curious how Obama and his handlers will deal with this confession…of if they’ll deal with it at all. It’s not like the State Run Media is going to ask Obama or Gibbs about it.

Some conservative bloggers are skeptical that Ayers was simply messing with Ms. Leary:

Legal Insurrection:

Was Bill Ayers just causing some trouble with a tall tale sure to get people talking, or telling the truth to a stranger to get it off his chest? I don’t know, but I do believe that Anne was accurate in telling what Ayers said.

Will Obama issue a denial of Ayers’ accusation? Will the usually compliant press ask a real question for once? Probably neither, which is too bad.

I think we are entitled to know whose Dream it was, since we are living the nightmare now.

I agree. I think Ayers was telling the truth, that he’s tired of not getting the credit he was due for writing the most successful book of his career. I think he’s tired of being under the Obama bus, and having to live Obama’s lies.

As Leary asked, “Is our President Barack Obama’s biography written by an unrepentant domestic terrorist?”

Again, I say yes. And more importantly, what does it mean about Obama?

Interestingly, the Wikipedia entry for Dreams of My Father still does not contain a single reference to Bill Ayers. Yet.

  1. It means the same thing to me about obama as before.
While inept and naive, obama is a Lying, Pathologically Narcissistic Socialist.

  2. I can’t wait for GW’s biography. You know he will write it himself, it will be in crayon.

    • Crayon, ink, or scribbled in the sand — you’d still be too fucking stupid to read it.

    • The Greatest President of the Twenty-First Century has already published his memoirs.

However, he did not do so until after he had accomplished something.

And, he admitted that he had help writing them; the co-author’s name is right on the cover.

This is in sharp contrast with our current President, who published two volumes of memoirs before ever accomplishing a single thing, and who had someone else write the books, and then claimed that he had written them himself.

  3. Whose uglier? Billy Ayers or David Letterman’s wife? I say, Ayers. lol

  4. So the people who voted for that eloquent author of that “Dreams” book really *did* vote for a Marxist.

    How about that.
