Albany, OR Apartment Manager Prohibits Display of the American Flag

Mockarena over at Chicks on the Right has a column up titled “You know who I hate?” That has me thinking about who I hate this morning — more on that in a moment.

The object of Mockarena’s ire today? The management at the Oaks Apartments in Albany, Oregon.

You know why?

Because apparently, they have a problem with the American flag. So much so, in fact, that they are banning residents from displaying the stars and stripes anywhere on the complex grounds, because the American flag “symbolizes problems.” And, “someone might get offended” by it.

You guys, you should BOMBARD their office with calls of outrage. LIGHT UP their switchboard. Here’s the number: (541) 967-1284.

I’ve already called 4 times this morning and left some rather pointed voice mails. I’ll try calling back later after the American-hating fucksticks wake up from their crack-induced fitful night of sleep.

If I were a resident, I’d have so many flags on display that I could open a store…they think the flag symbolizes problems? We should give them so many problems that the manager and anybody involved in this decision is fired and put out on the streets.

Object of My Hate

Now…as to “who do I hate?” this morning…

If I could beat somebody with a cluestick this morning it would be Cherri Wolbrueck, co-owner of a bookstore om Taylor, TX.
