Demise of the MSM

The Hoax of Man-Made Global Warming and the Subsequent Media Cover-up

P.J. Gladnick: “Many of the mainstream media stories about global warming are simply pretending it doesn’t exist.”

The “it” that Gladnick is referring to is the huge document dump from the hacked e-mail servers at the University of East Anglia’s Climate Research Unit (CRU) in Norwich, England. Thousand of documents and emails that reveal that leading “global warming” advocates/scientists were pretty much faking and manipulating data to “prove” that global warming exists.

When, it appears, that the exact opposite is closer to the truth.

Those of us with more than just a lick of common sense have known all along that “man-made global warming” is the biggest hoax of all time. I’m just wondering how much of the faked science Al Gorical knew about, and when he knew it…

Media Cover-up

Of course if you haven’t heard of the University of East Anglia’s Climate Research Unit leaked emails that reveal the rampant fraud behind the science, you can hardly be blamed, as our compliant media is ignoring it all together.

Like the worst news paper in Texas, the Houston Chronicle:

The Global Carbon Project study concludes that unless emissions are substantially reduced, the result would be a rise in average global temperature by nearly 10 degrees Fahrenheit by the end of the century. That is on par with previous worst-case scenarios outlined by the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. Scientists have estimated that temperature spikes above 2 degrees could have disastrous consequences, including large rises in sea level, droughts and stronger storms.

One of the authors of the study, Professor Corinne Le Quere of the University of East Anglia, says the conclusions raise the stakes for delegates to the Copenhagen gathering, who will try to hammer out a successor to the Kyoto Accords that committed signatory governments to emission reduction goals. The United States did not sign on to that agreement.

As Gladnick points out, where have we heard that name before…?

Something about hacked e-mails, manipulated data, and a coverup? This editorial won’t bring up the scandal that dare not speak its name but the readers are not shy about bringing it up over and over and over again..

Much more coverage of the media’s willful negligence in covering this angle of the story over at Memeorandum.

They must be out publishing retractions on their Kentucky census worker smear campaign against conservatives after it was revealed that Bill Sparkman wasn’t murdered by angry Tea Party protesters stirred up by the likes of Michelle Malkin, Rush Limbaugh, and Glenn Beck.

He committed suicide, just for the record, since you’re unlikely to get the follow up story from the willfully misleading media.

There’s really no subtle way to put this — but if you believe that man is responsible for any trends in “global warming”, and that if we don’t do something RIGHT NOW WE’RE ALL GOING TO DIE — well, you’re an idiot.

  1. This AGW hoax has been years in the making.
A message to the environmental movement.

  2. More interesting is what is not contained in the emails. There is no evidence of any worldwide conspiracy, no mention of George Soros nefariously funding climate research, no grand plan to ‘get rid of the MWP’, no admission that global warming is a hoax, no evidence of the falsifying of data, and no ‘marching orders’ from our socialist/communist/vegetarian overlords. The truly paranoid will put this down to the hackers also being in on the plot though.

Instead, there is a peek into how scientists actually interact and the conflicts show that the community is a far cry from the monolith that is sometimes imagined. People working constructively to improve joint publications; scientists who are friendly and agree on many of the big picture issues, disagreeing at times about details and engaging in ‘robust’ discussions; Scientists expressing frustration at the misrepresentation of their work in politicized arenas and complaining when media reports get it wrong; Scientists resenting the time they have to take out of their research to deal with over-hyped nonsense. None of this should be shocking.
