Ret. Lt. Col. Allen West: “There may be those who feel threatened by my words and would even recommend they not be uttered. To those individuals I say step aside because now is not the time for cowardice.”
Or for cowards.
Lt. Col. West, who served as a Battalion Commander at Ft. Hood from 2002-2004, has some things to say about the terror attack that took place at his former duty station — and, as a real man does, he doesn’t sugar coat it or back away from the scary truth:
On Thursday, 5 November 2009 Ft Hood became a part of the battlefield in the war against Islamic totalitarianism and state sponsored terrorism.
These should have been the very first words out of our Commander in Chief’s mouth when he addressed the nation. Instead he gave a shout out to an old Indian medicine man and denigrated the Medal of Honor.
Our Country has become so paralyzed by political correctness that we have allowed a vile and determined enemy to breach what should be the safest place in America, an Army post.
We have become so politically correct that our media is more concerned about the stress of the shooter, Major Nidal Malik Hasan. The misplaced benevolence intending to portray him as a victim is despicable. The fact that there are some who have now created an entire new classification called; “pre-virtual vicarious Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)” is unconscionable.
This is not a “man caused disaster”. It is what it is, an Islamic jihadist attack.
If only our Commander in Chief had the same moral clarity and same moral courage…but alas, he simply doesn’t.
Make sure and read the entire post.

So, Pat, evidently you’ve been unable to buy any weapons.
Hi, Pat!
Welcome back. It’s good to see that some things never change.
Good to see that you came up for a breather Pat. Now back on your knees for your master Hussein.
Col. West,
As a veteran during the Vietnam era, I understand what you so eloquently said in a video I watched on YouTube. My only question is…. Sir, do you really believe in what you said, or is this about politics? I also saw in several other postings on the web some connection between yourself and Mrs. Obama. Are you tying yourself to the power of politics or do you REALLY believe the rhetoric you were espousing? Are you an Anmerican who truley believes what most career military (enlisted and officers) believe, or are you pounding sunshine up our asses to get yourself elected? It sounds good, but where do you really stand? Understand Col. West, I do not care if you are Black, White, Red, Purple or candy striped… you are a true American with the ideals of small town America or you are a POLITICIAN who looks at this thing as a means to your financial success. Either you wear the uniform or you do not. I am nothing more than an American who chose a military career because of a sense of DUTY to this country. Or are you a POLITICIAN who chose a military career as a means to an end…..Answer this email if you dare. I am sick of it all. Are you a POLITICIAN or are you an AMERICAN??? DO you have the balls to answer this???
I salute Lt. Col. Allen West because he is the first to recognize this liberal revolution which has been gathering and organizing since the fall of the Soviet Union. Our ‘elected’ politicans of the left stand to impose the agenda of the radical few over those of the American people. When all polls show dismal support of this health care “reform”, yet the drive it through with ZERO input from the opposing party, we have a SINGLE party system. Make no mistake, these policies (HC, cap-n-trade, card check, immigration, domestically located terror trials..etc.) along with a Afghanistan “surge” speech without using the word “victory” a SINGLE TIME) ALL AMERICANS need to decide which side they are on!
Lt. Col, sir, I did not serve in our country’s military, but that does not mean I cannot be a patriot. If you ask, I will stand and sacrifice with you in your cause! GOD BLESS AMERICA.
