Obama continued his American Apology Tour in Japan over the weekend.

Where, not only did he once again apologize on behalf of America (for being America) — but the groveling Appeaser-in-Chief also decided to denigrate and debase the office of the Presidency (again) by bowing a deep, near-90-degree bow to the Japanese Emperor.

How low can Obama go?

Would somebody please tell Boy Wonder that the American President bows to no one (just as the American Flag is never dipped)?

Remember when Boy Wonder bowed to the King of Saudi Arabia? And then lied about it, and said he didn’t?

What an embarrassment. What a disgrace.

Though I was expecting the Obama administration to lie about bowing to the Emperor (uh, he was just trying to help the Emperor tie his shoes…). Instead they spin it that Obama was “following protocol.”

Uh huh. Except that he wasn’t.

Hot Air Pundit has a bunch of pictures of other heads of states meeting the Emperor — not a one of them bowing. So much for protocol.

Ed Morrisey at Hot Air has a video showing 46 other heads of state NOT bowing to the Emperor of Japan:

American Presidents do not bow to monarchs, or at least they didn’t through the first 43 Presidents and the 220 years they served as the US head of state.
