To hell with Obama’s domestic policy — compared to his role as Commander in Chief of our nation’s armed forces, I hardly give a rat’s ass about his reckless dismantling of our entire free market system and the gleeful destruction of our economy.
The reason I can’t stand the man more than any other is his complete lack of balls with regards to his role as Commander in Chief, his disdain for the men and women who serve in the military, and his distaste for their *mission.
Uncle Jimbo at BlackFive (perhaps the single best Military Blog ever) on Obama’s continued state of paralysis on Afghanistan:
If this is true then just about all the worst fears we had about Obama as Commander in Chief are coming true…
He has already had the advice of his entire military chain of command with a near unanimous call for for reinforcements to move to the strategy that won in Iraq. We have watched as he has heard from the deep wisdom of Joe Biden and Rahm Emanuel. We have seen him dither and quibble and show a completely ineffectual and uncommitted face to our enemies and the rest of the world. Now months after his hand-picked commander has told him the situation is bad and getting worse, our troops in the field fight and die without the support of their Commander in Chief. He sent 21,000 more brave men and women there and now they are flappin’ in the breeze. How can a squad leader look his men in the eyes and tell them to saddle up and head out on a patrol, perhaps to be the last to die for a cause their President no longer believes in?
Obama is unfit to command these men and women — each and everyone of them a better and braver person than Obama could ever live up to. Obama simply doesn’t have the stomach for this part of the job. Unfortunately, it’s also the most important part of his job.
OTHERS:
The Associated Press is reporting that President Obama “does not plan to accept any of the Afghanistan war options presented by his national security team, pushing instead for revisions to clarify how and when U.S. troops would turn over responsibility to the Afghan government.” It has been obvious for some time that Obama has no intention of fighting to win in Afghanistan, as he promised during the presidential campaign. A battle plan that includes provisions for how and when the U.S. can extricate itself from the field is a blueprint for defeat, not victory.
Either fight the war, or withdraw the troops.
It is simple as that.
If you withdraw the troops, better assign them to every terrorist target in the United States because the Taliban and al-Qaeda will come here.
Will someone tell our President this is not a term paper. You don’t get to move the paragraphs around, tweak the punctuation, and cut and paste until it reads just right.
Keep screwing around on this and there will be no Afghan government left to which we can turn over “responsibility.”
This man is a disgrace. His actions are unforgivable. His hands are covered in the blood of our heroes, and the tears of their loved ones.

*Â Their mission, for those who quit paying attention, is to destroy radical Islamists who are hellbent on killing as many Americans as possible, and to help set up democratic governments in those countries to help combat the continued growth of more Islamists.

Obunghole is having trouble sending the necessary force to Afghaninstan as recommended by his Generals on the ground because he is suffering from the same ailment that Hasan the Ft Hood shooter has……..He doesn’t want to fight his muslim brothers….
Is there anything worse for those serving in the U.S. military than a totally incompetent leader who cannot make a decision? You can’t vote “present” for 8 years, Obama.
Hopefully, he’ll only be voting “Present” for the next 3 years.
Oh, what a quandry Obama has; how does he placate his base, the far left that wants our troops out of Afghanistan and Iraq as badly as they wanted them out of Southeast Asia, while still acting like he is in control?
This is a president who wants to go down as the nation’s greatest POTUS in history, yet he is facing a firing squad on both sides. Give his hand chosen commander on the ground what General McCrystal says it will take to accomplish the mission (as he said he would do WHEN he was campaigning) and be fired on by his far left base; or….
lose the war in Afghanistan, cut and run, and go down in history as another LBJ who was unwilling to take the gloves off to really win a war and be fired on by the rest of the nation as we hang our heads in shame again, repeating history from 40 years ago.
What to do….what to do….what to do…..
The idiot puppet of the puppetmasters Rahm Emanuel and David Axelrod, is looking for any excuse not to make the decision that ultimately lies with him, learning that leading a nation is a hellofa lot harder than reading speeches off a teleprompter during campaigns. He is also learning that 15 years from now, no one will remember the names of those who are advising him, but they will remember his name and it will either be tied to victory (a word he said he was “uncomfortable” with) or defeat. LBJ lost the war in Southeast Asia, but the man who held office when we withdrew in defeat got the blame, Richard Milhouse Nixon.
There is another choice: continue the status quo, racking up dead soldiers for us to bury here back home because they are denied the force they need to win. It is my guess, that will be Obama’s choice as he tries to play the game, hoping that enough dead bodies in flag drapped coffins will turn the entire nation against Afghanistan and he can look presidential, serving the people’s wishes, when he withdraws.
Considering his reaction to Fort Hood and the terrorist (ooops, excuse me…man-made disaster) attack there, it is clear that our soldiers are not his first concern. Even Clinton did not look as uncomfortable around our military as our first [Kenyan] president does. But oh, how those caskets at Dover presented a prime photo-op opportunity, didn’t they?
I can honestly say that, although I disagreed with him on almost every policy issue, I did not hate Bill Clinton and have a standard of not hating any president.
I have decided to make an exception to that rule in Barack Hussein Obama’s case and am beginning to wonder if the damage I think he is capable of can ever be repaired.
Perhaps his bowing to the Saudi prince was a more revealing act than any of us thought.
I would say he is unfit to be a U.S. citizen, but then that has never been clearly established.
I despise and loathe him with every molecule of my being, and view him as a criminal, felony oxygen theft.
Not only does obama not have the stomach for the CIC part of his job…He Doesn’t Have The Brain For Any Of It.
