I think that abortion — all abortion — is murder. Abortion is a horrendous and morally unjustifiable act.
But, as long as it’s legal…have at it ladies. But to require me to pay for your bad choices for this medically unnecessary elective surgery? Now that’s immoral.
Sen. Feinstein — she of the “call me Senator, dammit” fame (oops, got her confused with the other idiot from California, Babs Boxer) — thinks just the opposite: that we few who do pay taxes (who, oddly enough, happen to be mostly hard-working Conservatives) should be forced to pay for the abortions of those who can’t (or won’t) pay for their own:
As the Senate was debating the Nelson amendment Tuesday, CNSNews.com asked Feinstein: “Is it morally right to use tax dollars from pro-life Americans to cover insurance plans that cover abortion?”
Feinstein said: “Is it morally correct? Yes, I believe it is. Abortion is legal, and there (are) certain very tragic circumstances that a woman finds herself in. Married, with an unborn baby that’s unable to survive outside of the womb, her doctor tells her it’s a threat to her health. I think she ought to have a policy available to her.”
CNSNews.com asked: “So it’s morally right for pro-life taxpayers to have to help pay for plans that cover abortion?”
Feinstein responded: “Please. We pay for a lot of things that we may or may not agree with, and taxpayers pay for it, for those things, as well.”

I don’t know if there is a bigger abortion than the political career of Dianne Feinstein, who very well might be the most incredibly vile and despicable person in all of Congress.
And that’s really saying something (though Dick Durbin and John Murtha certainly give her a run for her money).

Hey, they are easy to get confused. Both are liberal dingbats for the not-so-great state of California. And both are immoral in their thinking and their actions!
Robbie – do you have a breakdown? It would be interesting to see. I know plenty of the “elitist east coast liberals” (the hedge funders, etc) who make insane amounts of money (into the hundreds of millions) pay little in taxes due to glaring loopholes.
This is Diane Feinstein. The same person who says that rifles with buttstocks are so you can shoot from the hip.
Abortion is a fucked up way to deal with bad decisions and or being irresponsible while having sex. You alone should be responsible for that not the tax payer. But as we all know, the lazy and all the walfare folks don;t fell that way since society owes it to them.
I have loathed this alleged Senator for more years than I can remember.
No depraved position she takes can ever surprise me.
