Kay Bailey Hutchison: Voting with Democrats and Against the Will of Her Constituents

Speaking of voting against the will of your constituents: “[Kay Bailey Hutchison's] bizarre decision to vote against Republicans in their efforts to slow health care undermines her entire campaign.”

KBH’s campaign for governor of Texas — the campaign where she’s desperately trying to convince Texans (and likely herself, too) that’s she the “real Conservative” in the race — took a major step towards guaranteeing that Gov. Rick Perry wins a third term as our state’s chief executive.

And it took the Perry campaign all of about 5 minutes to put together this very effective campaign spot:

I don’t believe Kay has a prayer in hell of beating Rick in the March primary — my only fear is that the lying wench won’t honor her (worthless) word and actually retire from the Senate.

  1. Debra Medina just had a door open for her.

    • Wrong candidate at the wrong time. Will be a small, tiny footnote in history.

    • Sorry, Debra Medina is a Liberterian who is running as a Republican. Libertarians found they couldn’t get elected to squat with an “L” behind their names, so they just changed it to an “R”.

Outside of conservative sites and blogs, she has virtually no visibility and therefore no chance of beating anybody. Medina actually has some good ideas, but no experience and no money.

I am not a fan of Rick Perry, but I do not anyone who has served in Washington D.C. as Governor of Texas. There is absolutely no way Kay Bailey Hutchinson is going to thumb her nose at the Federal government she helped construct!

As far as I am concerned, Perry is the Devil I know. And right now I would rather vote for that, than vote for the Devil from Washington D.C.

  3. This doesn’t surprise me, just pisses me off.
I had been saying for months she should plan on sitting on her porch with an endless pitcher of iced tea, if she runs for Gov.
I don’t know what it is about the D.C. culture that screws with the heads of elected officials. Instead of draining the swamp, we should flood it, and flush that cesspool of a Capital away.

  5. I was hoping KBH step down for two reasons -

    1) It would give Bill White (Mayor of Houston) a great shot at her Senate seat. Houstonians love the guy, and I imagine he would make a serious run for her spot.

    2) To get rid of Rick Perry. What an embarrassment to our state.

On a lighter note, here’s a funny cartoon for your Sunday morning laughter -

    • 1) Bill White has abandoned his campaign for Senate, and instead will win the Democrat primary for Governor, and then get beat by Rick Perry.

      2) How exactly has Gov. Perry been an embarrassment to our state? Almost everything about our state economy, freedoms, tax rates, unemployment, jobs created, housing industry, etc. is the best in the nation.

While Democrat-run states like California, Michigan, and Ohio are dying under their economy-killing liberal agendas, Texas has become the shining beacon in our Country.

Houston’s new Mayor was a staunch critic of Bill White, who basically ran Houston’s budget into the toilet. Don’t think Rick Perry’s team won’t bring that up a bunch during the campaign.

      • You really think Rick Perry has a shot? I think he is one of the most polarizing Governors in our union. Half of this state hates him, the other half loves him.

In terms of him being an embarrassment, his threats of secession (which even Fox News made fun of) and his Perrycare (mandated vaccines for teenage women) were enough to make him the butt of political jokes throughout the country.

As far as unemployment, our numbers are far higher than neighboring states.

Annise Parker at critic of Mayor White? I know you like in Austin, but its not far from Houston. Many voted for Parker because she was “the closest thing to Bill White.” Her campaign was run on continuing actions that White has put into place.

White and Parker are one in the same in a lot Houstonian’s minds.

        • He’s not polarizing at all. Liberals hate him because he’s not a Liberal. But Conservatives LOVE Rick Perry. And, much to the consternation of Liberals in Texas, Conservatives still comprise an overwhelming majority in this state. Add in the Independent voters disillusionment with the Democrats (thanks Obama + Reid + Pelosi), and Rick Perry will win by margins that will make Democrats cry in 2010.

        • My folks went to A&M the same time as Perry supporters, and as a result, were big conservative fans of his. Then, 2008-09 rolled around, and he started embarrassing us with job losses and opening his mouth and, well, he quickly lost my parents’ support.

I wonder how many times this scenario was repeated throughout Texas?

The last Rasmussen polls only include Perry and KBH.

It will be interesting to see if Rasmussen follows Newsweek and anoints Bill White our next Gov.

  6. Like a true liberal… he actually believes the shit spewing from his pie hole. Poor child.

  7. Ha! That is funny! Applying lables… now if I didn’t have information to base my assumptions on, that would be a different story. You, however, have opened your rant hole and are not capable of telling the truth. That has been pointed out time and time again. With that information, ANYONE can come to the simple conclusions we all see. Now go away; sponge off your mommy and daddy, grow old and become a burden on the tax payer.

  8. Steven, you seriously e-mailed “flag@whitehouse.gov”? Are you that juvenile?

    Posted by mom of 4 | December 21, 2009, 9:19 pm
    • Mom of 4, you must not be aware of what a fraudulent, lying, plagiarist nut job he is.
This fool has even tried stalking me at another blog, but the owner there took my advice and blocked him from posting there.

      Posted by No2Liberals | December 21, 2009, 9:37 pm
    • No, its simply NO2LIBERALS posing as me.

He does this throughout the site after I refute one of his claims.

      It is entertaining.

      • Liar.

        • You and me both, brother!

          Posted by Steven | December 23, 2009, 9:13 am
        • No, only you, and I am not your brother and wouldn’t want to be.

          Posted by No2Liberals | December 23, 2009, 9:35 am
        • You posted a fake article and said “The truth hurts.”

          That is lying.

          Congrats.

          Posted by Steven | December 23, 2009, 9:36 am
        • I posted a comment, something sent to me, and snopes said it was fake.
So I should have checked, big deal.
That doesn’t make me a liar, and doesn’t give equivalence to the many names you posted under to reinforce yourself, or the bizarre and racist comments you have made.
You have been proven time and again to be a fraud, a liar, a plagiarist, and a total nut job.
Anyone here can go to nuke’s, except you since he banned you, and ask if you tried posting under your own name and mine.
Whatever it is you are trying to do, you are a sad and sick individual.
          Deal with it.

          Posted by No2Liberals | December 23, 2009, 9:45 am
        • I would stop giving my opinions if you would tell us whose IP posts under my name on this site.

Until then, I will continue to check in to make sure you are telling the truth.

          Posted by Steven | December 23, 2009, 9:47 am
        • So that is what this is all about.
I intentionally withheld the ip address attached to your name, as well as attached to Ryan/TOL/Mike, as I suspected you were trying to get me to.
You think if I did that, you could somehow get Robbie’s blog in trouble for violating your privacy, which is why I didn’t.
If Robbie chooses to do so, that is his call.
Remember this, this is Robbie’s blog, not mine, but he has entrusted me for almost two years with admin privileges because he has gained a level of trust in me and my judgment. He asked me if I would participate, not me asking him. I have also been invited to be a blog admin and contributor at two other sites.
Any credibility I have established with Robbie and other posters here is earned, and I have never betrayed their trust.
You on the other hand, have no cred with anyone here.
So if you think you can somehow destroy my cred with your lies, or get this blog in any form of trouble, you are mistaken, which I surmise is a common characteristic in your life.

          Posted by No2Liberals | December 23, 2009, 10:02 am
        • No, all I want you to do is tell everyone who, exactly, posted crude messages under my name by cross checking IPs.

The most recent fraudulent post occurred just last night -

You aren’t important here, and this sort of thing only happens to you, when you are trying to cast doubt on your bullshit.

          Posted by No2Liberals | December 23, 2009, 10:20 am
        • LOL!

          Posted by Steven | December 23, 2009, 10:22 am
        • Glad you think it’s funny.
I doubt anyone in Holland would know to use your full name in the email address or your avatar.
I am done with you, any future expressions about this should be directed to Robbie.
I will continue to point out to any that reply to you, what a fraud and a liar you are.

  9. Steven, those of us that have been here for more than a few months, know what No2 is and is not. Anything but a liar, and always spot on. You, my friend, are pathetic. Get a life, get a clue, but most of all… GTFOH.

  10. Are you related to a Gilly Thorpe? He was the biggest butt pirate anyone had ever seen.

Working at pizza hut really isn’t a job, it is a past time while you puff on the pipe before you go home to momma’s and jerk your tiny fireman. What a freakin looser.

I bet your multiple personalities will even argue with each other. Have fun in never land you stinkin peter!

    Posted by Anonymous | December 23, 2009, 4:29 pm
    • I just did a check on search engine terms, and it appears dingus Thorpe is still stalking me.
That makes four days in a row now, I think. I lost count.
Had he the decency or mental capacity to admit what he had done when first confronted with, people may have viewed him differently, though his nuttiness would have been his undoing anyway.
I advise against anyone clicking on his site, as I haven’t. He seems too eager for the attention, or perhaps to capture ip #’s or email addresses.

      Posted by No2Liberals | December 23, 2009, 6:47 pm
      • You are correct.

You are very active online from very early in the morning until late in the night. When you posted that fake article, I became worried about what information you are spreading to the public.

I’ll keep checking for a little while to make sure your facts are straight.

        Posted by Steven | December 23, 2009, 7:02 pm
        • The help you need will not be found online, and is quite expensive by the hour.

          Posted by No2Liberals | December 23, 2009, 7:43 pm
      • I know far too much about you already, NO2LIBERALS.

Please do not go to my site. I dont want fake articles posted on there.

        Posted by Steven | December 24, 2009, 6:20 am
        • You know nothing, and begging me not to go to your site, when I have already said I wouldn’t is further proof.
As for the newspaper article you are feigning to be upset by, I recall you saying you liked it and sent it to many people.
It must have been one of them that checked snopes and called you a dingus, and they would have been right, you oxygen thief.

        • Good. I am glad you are honoring my request to not visit.

I did say I liked it, until I found it was a fake.

Why have all of my visitors from the past week been from the DFW area?

          Posted by Steven | December 24, 2009, 9:57 am
        • Typical.
You are exposed as a fraud and liar, then you try and obfuscate by accusing others of being so.
I announce I would never visit your site and encourage others not to do so, and you think I am honoring a request.
Clearly you know you are bi-polar, and are refusing treatment.
