I’m not a fan of reporter Anderson Cooper, and even less of a fan for the far-left leaning cable news channel that he works for.
But my hat’s off to Mr. Cooper for dropping his reporter hat to help a young Haitian boy who was seriously injured during a chaotic looting scene in Haiti — at an actual risk to himself and his own safety.
As Gina Cobb notes, “There is a time for journalistic detachment, and there is a time to roll up one’s sleeves and help. This may be the most important work either of these CNN reporters has done for some time.”
Gina is also referring to CNN reporter Dr. Sanjay Gupta, who is also in Haiti as a reporter for CNN:
Gupta also ended up staffing a Port-au-Prince field hospital overnight without any other doctor to assist him after a Belgian medical team evacuated due to security concerns.

Humanity at its best.
Have you seen Blackfive, Robbie? They are in desperate need of equipment for amputations. I’m not sure why some local hospitals can’t donate some equipment and have it sent to them.

I guess I’m too much of a cynic but Anderson Cooper does need a ratings boost doesn’t he?
At best, this makes up for this disgusting performance by Anderson…he went to the trouble of holding up the microphone so you could hear her scream while he made a concerned face
I’ll include the link this time
Anderson listening to a little girl scream
So much anger from you two.
To quote Sister Ann Coulter, ‘I take a back seat to nobody when it comes to right wing wackery’.
Still, I have to say that Fox news is doing a poor job of reporting from Haiti.
The real Fox reports are given only brief soundbits between long self-serving diatribes from that Geraldo idiot.
I actually switched to MSNBC for coverage of this disaster!
