Some of you may have watched the news coverage of Øbummer speaking in Boston. It remains to be seen if his presence there will help Coakley, or if his visit will have the same effect as his visit to Copenhagen, Denmark during the Olympic selection.

Personally, I would rather listen to La Boheme performed by a symphony of fingernails on chalkboards, than listen to the odd speech cadence and sonorous voice of Øbummer, as well as the bovine excrement his mouth exudes.

In any event, here is a brief compendium of events from today, gleaned from many different sources.

  1. Not one post about the crisis in Haiti? I am surprised. Why would you rather post things about baseball?

    • Robbie can speak for himself, but as for me, I don’t find the topic that interesting. The only thing I find interesting about Haiti is it shares the island Hispaniola with the Dominican Republic. The U.S. and the *SPIT*U.N.*SPIT* have poured billions of dollars into that shit-hole for decades, and it is still just as bad off. Meanwhile, the Dominican Republic trails only Puerto Rico in quality of life, per capita income and educational attainment.
Perhaps this is what Haiti needs, a culling of the herd. The loss of life is tragic, but if I had the misfortune to live in that country, I would envy the dead.
