Joe Biden, the drunken Irishman who's greatest skill seems to be embarrassing President Obama nearly every time he opens his mouth, has…well, embarrassed himself again.
This time Joe Biden, whose only knowledge of the military is riding on Air Force 1 and hearing second hand stories from his son Beau, who was an Army Judge Advocate serving in Iraq, decided to pretend he knows more about Military justice than Sen. Scott Brown (R-The People's Seat):
Sen. Scott Brown thinks Vice President Joe Biden was “off base” when he suggested Sunday that the Massachusetts Republican get his facts straight on the legal procedures for military tribunals.
“It was insulting,” said Brown, who frequently jabbed the administration during his Senate campaign for giving suspected terrorists legal representation.
On CBS's “Face the Nation” last weekend, Biden shot back that he doesn’t “know whether the new senator from Massachusetts understands: When you get tried in a military tribunal, you get a lawyer, too.”
“He’s trying to give me a lesson on military law, and I didn’t think it was appropriate,” Brown told POLITICO. “And I thought he was off base when it comes to explaining to the American people that somehow I need a lesson on whether people get attorneys — of course they get attorneys. There’s a difference as to what type of attorney they’re going to get and when they’re going to get that attorney, and how are they treated, and what rights do they, in fact, get.”
Brown said he is particularly incensed by Biden’s remarks because he’s served in the Massachusetts Army National Guard for more than 30 years and is currently the Guard's top defense attorney in New England. “I know the military rules and regulations and procedures from A to Z,” Brown said.

Biden, who has never had a real job in his entire life — he's a career politician — is the greatest argument ever against having an elitist ruling class and for term limits.

Not to mention that Biden’s motorcade has killed more people that global warming. Now it seems that yesterday Biden’s motercade was involved in another accident (having recently run over Jim Treacher who blogs for Tucker Carlson), this time sending Olympic Gold Medal winner Peggy Fleming to the hospital.

Of course Biden’s a fool; that’s why Obama chose him. On the surface, for the typical idiot voter he’s a standard white-male politician, so provides a flimsy “beard” for Obama’s Stalinist policies. In reality, of course, he’s utterly incompetent, so serves as a caution to those who might consider getting rid of Barry (by means either fair or foul). There is no way that a narcissist like Lord Barry could bear to have a competent VP, and particularly not a competent white VP. Just another in the anointed one’s snubs to traditional Americans.
Let’s face it; Joe Biden was brutally rejected in his presidential bid, by his own party.
So Obama takes the guy who managed to get the least votes of anyone in the Democratic primary, and picks him as #2. But the reasons are obvious;
send old Joe to speak at some factory in Montana, send old Joe to the Olympics, send old Joe to do tv spots; Joe’s out of the way, problem solved.
This administration clearly doesn’t want anyone who is not a Chicago insider, Gibbs being the exception.
Joe Biden’s son is serving in the military in Iraq.
Yeah, I know. All the respect in the world to Biden’son for his brave and selfless service.
But Beau Biden is not Joe Biden, and Joe Biden has gleaned as much insight into being in the military by nature of his relationship as I have learned about fixing B-52 bombers from my brother-in-law who worked on ‘em for most of his career in the Air Force.
