This happens so often here in Austin — companies fleeing high-tax, Democrat-led, Democrat-destroyed states to the business and personal tax friendly state of Texas — that I hardly even take note of it.
But…here’s another one:
Germany-based NameDrive is moving its North American headquarters to Central Texas, an official for the company confirmed today.
The “domain parking” company, founded in 2005, is currently headquartered in New York and focuses on supplying advertisements for domains and managing a domain name marketplace.
A spokesman said the company will maintain a small presence at its current location, but most will move to a 6,000 square foot office in Pflugerville. He said the company decided to move because many employees have family in the area and the tax environment is more favorable.
