The NY Times has a sad report on the plight of America’s “new poor” — the millions of formerly-middle class Americans who have been unemployed for 6 months or longer and have used up their unemployment benefits. With no prospects for finding a new job anytime soon.

I don’t believe for a moment that it’s anything other than the later. As Scared Monkey asks, “How is it possible that these individuals who have represented the terrorist enemy are now supposed to be advocating against the same people (terrorist vermin) that they represented?”
