It has been reported since Nov 09 that Chelsea Clinton was to be married. What hasn’t been widely reported is much information about the groom and what type of wedding will be held.
The PC inclined refer to it as an “interfaith” marriage. However, it is being reported (quietly) that it is to be a Jewish marriage, and that Chelsea has been shopping for a Rabbi to perform the ceremony, while also shopping for a dress.

The bride and groom announced their wedding in November 2009. Numerous Jewish Community Centers are looking forward to having a member of President Bill Clinton’s family join their Community. Media gossip is asking whether Chelea has been looking for a Jewish rabbi to perform the ceremony in a Jewish wedding? Clinton is marrying Marc Mexvinsky.
Can you imagine the frantic and frenetic conversations among the anti-Jewish/anti-Zionist multitudes in the U.N., as well as in our own State Department? I would give one hundred million quatloos to hear what they are all saying about this event.
What will Hillary say when asked by Hamas’ leadership, or Fatah’s Mahmoud Abbas Abu Mazen about the Clinton family now being bound to a Jewish family by marriage? How will the royal family of the Magic Kingdom respond to this diplomatic slight?
Stay tuned on this issue, it is the gift of irony we have come to expect from the Clintoons, and it just never ends.

Why have a rabbi if you are not going to convert? I would think they could find someone nondenominational to marry them.
Perhaps she isn’t planning on converting, but has agreed to have any children be raised in the Jewish faith.
Raising your kids as Jews even in the Reform movement is pretty involved. It seems counterproductive unless the parent converts, too.
If she converts, I think Hillary will be persona non grata at the U.N. and all the ME countries.
I doubt she will convert. I think this is all rumor. But to emphasis what we touched upon by way of the Little Green Fisters, Chuckles is having a hissy fit over the Catholic Church not allowing a kid living with her lesbian mother and her lez lover, readmission to preschool. It is hardly the first time I’ve heard of this happening. The Church doesn’t want to teach one thing in its schools only to have it undermined at home. They expect the parents not to live in illicit relationships and to attend church once a week. I think they sign promises to do so. Since when did Catholic school become a right? and how is not attending Catholic school punishment? LGF is so obnoxiously anti-religious they are the ones that are bigots. His stats are in the toilet. Expect more drama.
Who knows, all I do know is they are planning a Jewish wedding, and Shrillary won’t comment further than to say Chelsea hasn’t found a gown yet.
As for little green snotballs, I hope you didn’t actually click on that site. Hate to think of the time it would take to go through decontamination. Chucky’s long road to insanity and irrelevance is well documented. To go through years of comments and delete all that he now finds objectionable is the act of one suffering OCD.
Reread the post. No where does it say that Clinton and her fiance are plaining a Jewish wedding.
I then followed the links and the website (that I never heard of before) says: Chelsea Clinton, the daughter of former President Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton, is going to have a Jewish wedding.
That’s it. No proof of anything. Just a declaratory statement. Not exactly reporting at it’s finest. They refer to “media gossip” but what is that? Who is that? The only source is the examiner.

Two other tidbits about this wedding, Mexvinsky is a Goldman-Sachs investment banker that just bought a $3.8Mill condo near Chelsea, and his father is former Rep. Edward Mezvinsky(D) from Iowa, and former federal inmate for bank, mail and wire fraud.
