Go read Hawkins’ entire piece on the Five Keys to Killing Obamacare, which are:
- Fight the Democrats on Reconciliation
- Challenge the bill in court
- Win the Public Relations war
- GOP must win big in next two elections
- Repeal, replace, and refuse to fund
Though I would add a No. 6 to this list, if all those fail: Revolution.
Take to the streets of D.C. and take back our government. Throw them all out based on, “whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.”

KBH’s partner in embarrassing Texas, John Cornyn, is on record today saying he’ll seek to emend, rather than repeal, Obamacare. All those who insist that somehow replacing Democrats with Republicans will make a substantive difference in November are fooling themselves. Yes, there is a difference between the parties, but it is one of style and not substance. They’re both moving in the same direction but at a different rate. I refuse to go off the cliff with either. A pox on both their houses, damn it! Declined and finally fell, 2010.
I’m already on record stating I would never again vote for nor support John Cornyn. He’s a politics-as-usual Beltway insider concerned with one thing and one thing only: keeping and growing his own personal power at the expense of true Conservative values. He long ago quit fighting for his constituents (as his only true constituents now are lobbyist).

I am ready to skip to step 6. When does the revolution begin? Screw throwing tea into the ocean, I think we need to make a bigger splash than that.
House Majority Leader Steny H. Hoyer (D-Md.). said “Our democracy is about participation. Our democracy is about differing and debate and animated debate and passionate debate. But it is not about violence.”
I cry BS to that. We need to show these people that they cannot just ignore a government of the people and do whatever they want. If we have to remove them from office by force, so be it.
