Our only hope — other than voting every single person who voted for this out of office in 2010 and 2012 — is to make sure our state Governors and legislatures stand strong against this unconstitutional affront and invoke the 10th amendment to refuse to force its citizens to purchase insurance from the federal government.
You think that government is the answer, and what we need is more of it! You’d rather have somebody else take care of you and somebody else make decisions for you. How utterly pathetic, and how utterly un-American.

In related news concerning the “SlaughterHouse Rule,” here is a report on a vote in the House clearing the way for a vote on this violation of the constitution, and its consequences.
It was you idiot kids who helped elect this celebrity president, so don’t bitch and moan when you 1) can’t find jobs when you graduate (because unemployment is in double-digits), 2) you’re forced to pay for health insurance you don’t need and can’t afford, and 3) you and your kids are saddled with a lifetime of higher taxes to pay for it all.
Remember — laws (much like paying taxes) are for the “little people,” not our betters in the political ruling class
Perhaps Biden was drunk. Or maybe the idiot just needs his own little portable teleprompter (can Biden even read?). I think Obama must have selected Biden for no other reason that to distract voters from his own failings — well, that and to keep from being the biggest joke in his own administration.
And, afterward, he should be hanged from the nearest tree in full public view. Once he’s dead his body should be fed to pigs. I’ll volunteer for any stage of his punishment.
As for Jesse James and Sandra Bullock’s marriage — Sandy really has no one but herself to blame. Seriously, what do you expect from a man who leaves his pregnant porn star wife to marry you? It really shouldn’t come as a surprise that his moral compass might be a little broken.
But with Obama it’s more than simply his unfamiliarity with the military. It’s that he despises them and what they do. And, in this instance, it’s just another example of how little he thinks of America (as it is — though he has grand plans to change our great Nation [into something less great]).
If Nancy passes this and Obama signs it, all without a vote, they will have circumvented the consent of the governed.
