Remember Sheri Lynn Davis, the teacher in Houston caught on video tape beating up a 13-year old student?
Well, you might remember that there were a few other adults and at least one other teacher in the room who stood by and watched her beat the kid without doing anything about it.
Well, one of those teachers has resigned over the incident. Oh, and he appears to be another model citizen teaching at Jamie’s House Charter School:
A social studies teacher at Jamie’s House Charter School resigned today after school officials found he had witnessed a fellow teacher beating a 13-year-old student late last month and did not try to stop it or report it to administrators.
Gabriel Hahn Moseley, 33, had taught at the north Harris County charter school since November 2009.
Seven months earlier, Moseley pleaded guilty to two counts of marijuana possession on school grounds. Moseley was a teacher in the Houston Independent School District and had been arrested twice — three days apart, in November 2008 — on charges of having less than two ounces of marijuana in his car at school.
A spokeswoman for Jamie’s House this afternoon said school officials knew about Moseley’s misdemeanor charges, but noted that he was still a state-certified teacher.
Which is odd…because he doesn’t look like the kind of guy who would smoke dope…much less bring it to school with him (to get high while he teaches, or to sell it to his students?).
What a pathetic excuse for a man you are, Mr. Moseley.

Mosley is a great teacher. May God Bless each and every person who criticizes others. Only God can judge us. Mr. Moseley is a great educator
So if your child was getting smacked down by some thug teacher and some stoner teacher dude just stood there and watched..you’d be ok with that?
You must be cut from the same mold then.
First I would like to state that I am by no means defending nor justifying the actions taken by all persons involved within this situation. I will also state, “The beating of the child depicted within the video is extremely saddening and upsetting.” I will go further and say that when a person is put into a position and fails to do what is expected as the right thing… consequence or sure to follow. The first comment stated that Mr. Mosley is a great teacher. Although his character is definitely and obviously under scrutiny, I will hope that his ability to provide an education regarding the subject matter taught within a school setting is done properly. I’m truly at a loss of words regarding the unfortunate chain of events experienced by my brother. I know that many people will be extremely judgmental about Gabriel as a person and also more importantly as a teacher. He will not only be judged by his peers, the public, or by the court, he will also be held accountable for his actions by a higher power. I simply hope that he finds a way to avoid the unfortunate chain of events that he has recently been a part of. May God lead you into a positive direction by brother and I hope that you will be given the opportunity to share your talents/gifts with the rest of the world in a positive nature. For those individuals that choose to judge, criticize, and simply place blame… please understand that I am by no means condoning negativity, I am only hoping for every man…woman…and child, to be given the opportunity to ultimately prevail, serve a positive purpose, and ultimately be an asset within our community instead of a burden. Yes, Gabriel Mosley is my brother and my name is Stephen. I truly hope that the day comes sooner than later when our brother and sisters within this world cease to push others further into a negative direction instead of providing the assistance/help that in truly needed to make a difference. On a final note in regards to the headline, “I am truly appalled by the title because at some time or another I am more than positive that every person that has walked this earth was at some time or another put into a situation when he or she could have a made a difference but didn’t.” Anyone guilty of looking at the problems within our immediate or distant environment and simply feeling a sense of grief, anger, or disgust… but ultimately tending to our own personal matters we deem as more important. Gabriel was hired to teach the sons and daughters of others. Although his character or appearance may not fit the mold of an ideal role model, I hope that at the end of the day everyone eager to comment or to place fault or blame more importantly find a constructive way to make a positive difference. I will end by saying, “The child involved in this ordeal is truly the victim.” I hope that he and his family are given every opportunity to move past this unfortunate incident with minimum pain, hurt, or anger. I wish the best for everyone unfortunately involved.
