From our hike on Friday down in the green belt canyons around our home. It was about 93 degrees and partly cloudy while we were out hiking, which means that the black boys get hot pretty quickly.

Luckily for them, there are quite a few watering holes and creeks for them to cool themselves off in:

Dueling tongues

  1. Man, their tongues are as big as their heads.

  2. My wife and I took our Golden to my parents pool this afternoon. Needless to say, she loves the water. Is Otis a lab?

    • Otis is “mostly” yellow lab, with a good dose of Blood Hound mixed in.

He looks like a giant lab (he’s about 120 lbs of pretty lean and muscular dog), and bays like a hound when he get’s going.

Easily the best (smart, temperament, and just as lovable as can be) dog we’ve ever owned.

      • Good to hear.

We would like to adopt a lab (or lab mix) in the near future to give our Golden a buddy to tear up the backyard with.

  3. Cool creek comforts cavorting canines.

  4. BTW, the movie ‘Marmaduke’ is coming soon.

  5. ROFL>>you could roll up a baseball in those tongues!
