We are living in Bizzarro World.
The President of Mexico, Felipe Calderona, who openly encourages and assists his citizens to enter the United States illegally (while harshly enforcing his own country’s much more rigorous immigration laws and penalties) had the temerity to stand before a joint session of Congress in Washington D.C. (which was still on U.S. soil the last time I checked) and criticized a US state for not making it easier for his citizens to break our laws.
That’s blood-boiling crazy enough on it’s own — if I’d been in the audience, I would have been throwing my shoes at him (apparently a Lefty-supported and encouraged form of protest against a speaker they disagree with).
But to see our Democrat Senators, Congressmen, and VP of the United States stand and cheer for the Mexican-on-US-Soil while he criticizes a wildly popular and legal law in our own country? I’m disgusted by every last person in this video. Stomach turning rage.
Just when I think the Democrats can stoop no lower, they do exactly that. Congress is sick and broken, and it’s time to tear it down and rebuild and replace every single person who is now a part of it.
And in case watching our Congress sanction the invasion of the US by illegal immigrants isn’t enough to make you shake your head in disbelief:
- ICE (a Federal agency) says that they will refuse to enforce immigration law (they’re primary function and reason for existence) and will not process illegals referred to them by the State of Arizona.
- Meanwhile, the government says that it will do nothing to the illegal immigrant mother of a little girl who outed her mother’s illegal immigration status to Michelle Obama on live television.
Sorry, little girl, but if you’re momma is here illegally, then she must return to Mexico where she belongs. It’s the law. Period. And either we are a nation of laws or we are not. Either we are required to obey all of the laws all of the time or we are not.
And if we are not — then just say so. Because there’s a lot of them that I’d like to selectively not have to abide by, too — such as paying taxes to a corrupt and broken government.
The entire reason that Arizona passed SB 1070 (also known as the Bill that Nobody in the Obama Administration Has Read, but Still Adamantly Opposes) was because ICE and the Federal Government weren’t doing their jobs. And now that they’ve openly admitted to such, I see no reason to 100% de-fund ICE and make them go away.

Why is the whole room standing? Why is there not at least some sound of booing?
Please do not try and attempt to say Congressmen who do support this were showing their respect by not showing opposition to these comments by Calderon.
Gov. Brewer mocking those who haven’t read the law, but feel it necessary to mouth off about it.
Stomach turning rage is an understatement…but I agree..burn it down and start over…
What nerve he has…and our ludicrous government…
