Glenn Greenwald makes the case as to why Rep. Bob Etheridge should be arrested for assault.
That’s a clear case of assault and battery (the unedited video from the first camera is here). There is some speculation that the individuals questioning him have some connection to the right-wing organization of Andrew Breitbart. I hope it goes without saying how irrelevant that is. The only reason I think this is worth noting is this: imagine what would have happened to those students if this situation had been reversed, and it was they who had physically assaulted Rep. Etheridge, rather than the other way around. How quickly would they have been arrested and prosecuted? The application of our laws isn’t supposed to depend upon who is perpetrating the crime and who the victim is.

The only reason I can think of, as to why they haven’t filed charges, is they would then have to identify themselves.
Etheridge is done. The damage done by this video will finish him, as he is from a GOP leaning district, where he always posed as a moderate.
The film crew may yet come out and let us know who they are, but if they do I hope they go ahead and file charges, so this will become a permanent record for the congressman. Another prime example of the hypocrisy of the LSM, where they claim it is the right wingers that are violent.
If I were these kids, I would lawyer up very heavily before I formally filed charges.
But make no doubt, I would definitely be filing charges against this elitist, self-entitled prick.

A poll at Town Hall shows 89% support Etheridge being charged with the crime.
I believed charges were in order the moment I saw this video and nothing has changed my mind since.
I just wonder if staying anonymous doesn’t serve a useful purpose. They can’t be harmed or touched by the lefturd hate mongers and spin machine.
