This young soldier is indeed over-prepared, as she will enter basic training at Ft. Leonard Wood as an E-3, a rank that is almost unheard of for a new enlistee.

Bruce at Q&O: “Of course the irony is thick – Gen. David Petraeus, the man the left labeled “General Betrayus” and then Senator Hillary Clinton essentially called a liar about Iraq, has now been called upon to pull the presidential bacon out of the fire in Afghanistan”

Jay Tea at Wizbang: “The relationship between President Obama and the top ranks of the military have never been good. Obama has always had stronger alliances with the anti-military faction of the left than with the pro-military side”

I’ll kick this off: The fly is attracted to the source of its next meal. Share

But for now, I’m simply going to post this editorial from Ted Nugent that appeared in the Washington Times on Monday

Instead of passing a budget (their job), they’re simply planning on raising more taxes to help pay for more government spending. This is easily the most tone-deaf and out-of-touch Congress and Administration in our Nation’s short history.

Wait….what? You haven’t seen this story on your local news or on the national evening news? Did Rachel Madcow Or Keith Olbermann not cover it during their nightly diatribes against all that is good and wholesome?

Though I’m not that afraid of our slipping into full-fledged tyranny here. There are way too many armed and concerned citizens who will rise up and take arms against that particular sea of troubles before it happens.

With President Obama racing at break-neck speed to surprass Jimmy “Never Met an Islamic Terrorist I Didn’t Love” Carter as the “Worst President EVAH!1!,” Jimmy is trying to hold onto his title by arguing that the recent Supreme Court of the United States ruling will hinder his ability to interact with terrorist groups.

I have zero doubts that Sen. Kyl is telling the truth, because this is exactly the type of Chicago-way politics that is the only style of politics that Obama knows.

I don’t have much sympathy for these people. They should be renting a place that they can afford, instead of living above their means and hoping/counting on the government to bail them out of their own carelessness.

Regardless of why he’s quitting though, one thing is for certain: the US will be better off without him having any type of control or influence over the rest of our lives. I wish for him nothing but failures, dissapointments, and hardships wherever he lands next.
